Wireless Connection to the Internet

Hey mate,

So looking at your pda - it has no wlan build in, so you would need to get a wireless adapter for it.

Its pretty simple, install the adapter, plug it in, setup the wireless details of your home and your set to go.

Laptop doesnot recognise my router Desktop works fine connection is from cable modem to router. rouer to desktop.

Try changing channels on the wireless tab in the router. On most routers the default wireless channel number is 6 and you and your neighbor could be sharing tha number. Go to channel that is avaiable, I myself had that trouble myself.

I had channel 11 set and someone got the internet and mine was having trouble so I done a scan and found 3 was open and I have no problem since.

Unable to establish a wireless internet connection

Does your computer normally recognize other access points? Example, free wifi in some bookstores in fast food restaurants. If it does, check and make sure the wireless router is on. Also, plug the PC into the router with a network cable, determine the gateway IP address, enter that into your browser, and make sure the SSID is being broadcast. If you don't know how to do this, the following links may help:

The d-link support will help with your specific router.

Won't turn on..

Take off the the battery and connect the cable to your pc, and put it on, if it works this means the battery is died, if it doesnot come on try to use another charger, it seems the charger doesnot give enough power for your laptop.
