I have a S300i model, Set the speed control the actual speed does not change but the speed readout changes. also will not turn off (power) when the key is pulled.

After you have set the desired humidity, the readout will display the actual room humidity. It has a built in hygrometer which will be on the display while it is running.
You change it and it shows the actual levels.

you can try to rent a set at AutoZone. when you return it they will give your money back. try standard and metric. depending on manufacturer of treadmill.

If you vehicle has the automatic temperature control system, where you can set the desired temperature using the digital temperature readout, then you most likely have a failing blower motor speed control module. This is an electronic module the controls the blower on/off and speed operations and when it fails it often won't shut off the blower when you shut off the vehicle which can result in a dead battery if you don't pull the power supply fuse. Its a small rectangular box located under the right side of the dash [passenger side] by the blower motor and isn't to hard to change. Hope this helps and good luck!

1. Make sure the unit is NOT on lock mode
2. Press reset button for 2 second or until the Flashinf "F" appear on the temperature display or panel.
3. Press Add button to change from Fahrenheit"F" to celius "C".
4. Then press confirm and then cancel button to finish.

the fan changes speed by inserting a capacitor of different values in series with the motor .. direct drive to the motor is the fastest speed .. a large capacitor in series slows it down a bit and a smaller capacitor slows it down more ... so if your fan is running at full speed all the time then one of the capacitors is shorted or the switch is bad .. if its stuck on one of the lower speed settings then the switch has a bad contact .. the capacitors are mounted together in a small box with several wires going to the pull chain switch .. you can replace the capacitor box .. and you can replace the 3 or 4 position switch ... or you can remove all that stuff and put in a remote controled system .. that involves a box that just fits inside the fan .. it is hooked to AC power and neutral .. it then hooks up to the lilght and the fan giving you control over both .. you can vary brightness and fan speed .. you would no longer need the fan or light pull switch or the capacitors ... you could also get a new fan having such a controller .. since yours is fairly old it might be worthwhile to upgrade .. some of the remote controls allow you to set a temperature ..if the room goes above that temp then the fan turns on automatically and the speed is determined by how much higher the room temprature is from that set value .. some remotes also give you an additional very low fan speed .. thats nice at night when you just need a gentle breeze .. some also allow you to set a delay before the lights go out after you have clicked "turn off" ... that gives you time to exit the room or get in bed before the lights actually go out ... kindof nice features that might make it worth while to up grade .. to get parts for your old fan see this URL

Press the Stop and the Speed Up keys down while inserting the safety key this will get the into calibration mode. The next step is to press the Stop key one time. The Time window should read EP:2P. Some newer models may also say FP, Pass, or the like. This means that it passes the EPROM test. if it says 2F, FF or Fail then the upper console needs to be replaced

If the belt does not move in this mode then the controller board is defective and needs be replace.

could be a bad bake element, bad temperature sensor, or control board problem

what does the oven readout display for temperature? if the readout agrees with the actual oven temperature ... it is probably the element

if the oven readout displays a much higher temperature it may be the temperature sensor (the probe in the oven cavity) or the control board

the temperature sensor can be tested by measuring its resistance with power off and unplugged from the control board, should be about 1100 ohms at 75F

You might have a wiring issue in the dryer or a bad control board.
