tip

RC looper and DR880 syncing.

RC-50 & DR-880 Setup
Rather than using the RC-50 to change patches on the DR-880, I have connected an FS-6 footswitch to both the RC-50 & DR-880. This gives me control of both units, I can select up & down through the patches easily.
Use a dual TRS connector and 2 stereo "y" cables connected to ports 1,2 & 3.4 on both units.
Once connected, you will need to assign the control function for each control port. I assigned Patch Decrease to CLT 1,2 & Patch Increase to CLT 3,4 on both units.
I then connected a MIDI cable from the RC--u control of start/stop & tempo via the RC-50 footswitches.

PSR e423. Why does it have a blank screen and no sound?

Blank screen and no sound, can occur because of damage to the power supply circuit in the PSR-E423.
Circuit power supply is still working but the voltage is not sufficient. This is indicated by a lit LCD screen but does not appear any character, and the sound did not exist. It is a matter of hardwares, so it can not be reset by software.
Should be fixed to the experts.
Do you use the original adapter? Also check the voltage.
Maybe, it is not known why, a voltage adapter has been dropped.

GPX Karaoke Party Machine sound but no words

I think the backlight of your screen is out, which can be complicated. I think it is working but just not lighting up. I'll look this thing up and let you know more later. Please send me a make and model number when you can.

Dr. beat will not turn on

Most of the problems with these type units are due to dead batteries or incorrect power adapters and broken power jacks, Check for those things use ONLY the original type power adapter.

I have a casio keyboard WK 3000 and when it is powered up, the screen is frozen. When the keys are pressed, no sound comes after. Also when i try to shut the power off, it doesn't turn off. The only...

Make sure you use ONLY the correct adapter for power. Too small an adapter might cause it to light up but will not operate the unit. The correct adapter should say AD12 on it. It is a 2 volt, center pin minus, and probably 1 or 2 amps capability. Nine volt adapters used with pedals or universal adapters will NOT work with the WK3000.

Did you just use adapters or actual step-down transformers?
A lot of equipment today is 110/220 auto-switching, but if you get something built for 110V (120V, 100V, markings may vary) only, then you need more than an adapter, you need a transformer!

I have a Zoom 9000 Guitar effects processor, and although I have its original adapter, and although its red light flashes and power is on after plugging in everything, I could not get any sound from my...

I'm a Zoom 9000 owner (since '93, I think) Did you try batteries only? Are you plugging the guitar into the "in / power" jack and not mistakenly using another jack? When you plug in the guitar, in to the Zoom 9000 does the window come on with the settings shown? Sorry, I know some of these are obvious but always the chance of us being human. If all that seems fine, then I would read though a manual to see if maybe it is a setting problem, i.e., sound somehow got inadvertently turned off. If you don't have one, an internet search will lead you to one. Sorry, wish I knew more.
