My Yamaha psr 2000 when switched on only the blue backlight is getting displayed on the screen and none of the function keys are getting lit up

If your Yamaha PSR-2000 keyboard is turning on and the blue backlight is displayed on the screen, but none of the function keys are lit up and not responding, there may be a few different causes.
  1. Check if the power supply is working properly and is providing enough power to the keyboard. If the power supply is faulty, it may not be providing enough power to the keyboard.
  2. Make sure that the keyboard's internal battery is charged. If the battery is low, the keyboard may not function properly.
  3. Check if the internal fuse of the keyboard is not blown, which is a common problem on electronic devices.
  4. If none of the above steps work, the problem may be with the control board or the display, and the machine may need to be serviced by a professional technician.
I would recommend checking the user manual or contacting the Yamaha technical support for further assistance, as they may have specific troubleshooting steps or solutions for your model.

I have three keys getting malfunctioned /cords not changing in left side, on split board.can this be fixed?

If those keys work normally, it's hard to see how the key switches themselves can be bad.
Is your keyboard MIDI capable? If you play the same chords, does the MIDI output look OK?
Could it be that your keyboard simply can't play all of the different sounds at the same time? I know some are limited in how many simultaneous tones can be played.

I just got a used Yamaha Electone FE-30, and not all of the keys are working and some of the buttons are not responding, how can i make it work, should i clean it from the inside (Key Contacts?) becau

The contacts can be dirty but most likely they are broken. Contact switches and key contacts are cheap but the labor to replace them is extensive. I would suggest bringing it to a service center if you have not taken apart a keyboard before.

Volume on the piano is less than half the volume it should be. Demo and play along songs play at full volume but keyboard wont no matter how hard the key is pressed, Is there a fix for this...

Pianos do NOT respond to keys pressed hard... they respond to FAST presses. If you have an issue with the piano, first go on record to activate your warranty. Most of these electronics DO have a setting that adjusts the "feel" which affects the loudness versus key velocity... Now here is a secret??? Shh... The manufacturers turn up the demos just like the advertisers turn up the commercials on the TV... I would suggest looking for the adjustment of feel, and if that doesn't get satisfactory results, find another and compare yours to another... if yours is still underperforming, exercise your warranty for repair or replacement.

Keys not responding on my keyboard.

It needs to be plugged in to a computer with a DAW to produce sound. The DAW converts the information sent by the controller about which key is pressed and how hard and converts it into sound with a virtual instrument

I have yamaha PSR-i425 keyboard.can i conect it with my pc to play midi files stored in computer memory?

Yes. You will need to have a MIDI interface on your OC and also select in the sounds control panel of windows that you are using the external synth. The MIDI will expect the PSR to respond to the "general MIDI" assignments.
