I looked at the installation instructions for mediteranean III at this Maax site. It says silicone sealant is to be used. Unsure where you noticed mentioned of siliconized latex.

To get replacement parts for Maax steam shower, you can prefer showerenclosures.

That part is Maax only, you will need to go through them or a dealer in your area.

There will be a nailing flange on the walls of your shower. Typically, drywall screws are used on this flange on the top portion and along outside edges spaced 6-8" apart. Use a high quality tub/shower caulk down the seams.
