How do I save an open office document to the usb

Just open the Msoffice 2003 document in Msoffice 2007 program and click on save as and choose "save as type" and select "Ms office 2003 word document *.doc" and then click on save.You will get a copy of the 2007 document in word 2003 format.

Its easy, just save any format file you want on word document doesnt really matter is it doc, or docx file, enter open office go to main tab, file, open, select that doc, docx, file extension, open it and here you go. You can also save any file in open office to fit windows office packages .

You can open docx extension files only with MS Office 2007. If you wish to open it in earlier versions you have to save it again in compatible mode. you need to open the file on the same version then save it again but on the version that you need, cause an older version could not open a newer, on the newest you have the option to save files at any version that you need
