My homelite weed eater sx-135 the fuel filter broke of the tube

How do you connect the fuel lines back up tot he trimmers. The fuel line had been aged so bad that it rotted and broke apart. Do you have a shcematic?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey Jim this is Jim. I have a Snapper S31SNGBC actually but this was the closest thing I could find to resemble the Snapper I have. I have 2 line spots coming from the fuel tank, 2 lines coming from the carburator, and 2 lines coming from the bulb push. The old lines had rotted and have no idea where they go, If your familiar with this product or know someone who is any help would be greatly appreciated on this one. Part of the lawn still looks tall kind of like a retarded haircut or something. Thank you a lot Jim.

The longest, and sometimes smaller in diameter, fuel line goes from the carb. to the bottom of the tank. It should rest comfortably on the bottom of the tank. The other line should go from the primer bulb to just inside the gas tank, (about an inch).
HINT: Cut the fuel lines at an angle before inserting them into the gas tank. This will allow you to get them in much easier.

If you need further assistance, just let me know.

How many holes are in the gas tank for the fuel lines to go? I've been looking for a picture of this carb., but I can't find one on the internet.

Homelite weed trimmer bogs down and smothers out quits running

This could be a number of things. Clogged air filter/fuel filter/carburetor/fuel tank lid breather hole, cracked fuel line or primer bulb, or clogged spark arrestor in muffler. Here's some links that will help to change the bulb, fuel cap, fuel lines, rebuild carb, replace spark arrestor, and troubleshoot.

Fuel supply line on my homelite weed eater has broken off

remove both pieces of the line. measure the outside and inside diameters of the line. your local hardware store should have a tubing that is the same. measure the total length of both pieces so you know how much to buy. you may have to shave a little bit of a bevel on the end of the tubing you plan to insert into the opening of the gas tank.

What are the carberator settings for a homelite bandit sx-135 weed eater?

If it's a Zama 2-stroke carb...the reference settings for the high and low speed needle jets are... turn them all the way in till they are snug and them bring them back out about 1 1/2 turns. (one and a half ) That is a good starting point for their carbs and should get it to start so fine tuning can be done.

I have a homelite weed eater(20699), and the fuel lines became detached. What line does the fuel filter go on? The line that primes the engine(with the little pump) or the other line!!

you want the filter keeping the inbound fuel clean to the bulb and the carb... the other line should be a return line to the tank...to pressure the system... So put it on the inbound to bulb and carb.

The trimmer I have is a sx-135 bandit. which fuel line pulls fuel from the tank

The longest of the two lines is the one that pulls the fuel from the tank. It should also have a fuel filter attached to the end of it which lays at the bottom of the tank.
The other line goes form the primer bulb on the carb. to just inside the tank ( about 1/2 in to 1 inch).

The other fuel line goes from the primer bulb to just inside the tank, (about an inch, with that very small piece of plastic attached to it. This piece of plastic keeps this line from pulling out of the gas tank. this line serves as an overflow from carb.
