NorStar ICS Caller ID Upgrade

I have a NorStar (Nortel) Compact ICS with a standard Norstar LS/DS Trunk Cartridge.  This setup doesn't support Caller ID.  Can I simply power down the ICS and replace the LS/DS cartridge with a Norstar Caller ID Trunk Cartridge NT5B41GC NT7B75AAAE NT7B75AAAF power it back on and CID should work, assuming that I have CID enabled on my CO lines?

No feature options, software configuration, or firmware upgrades needed?  Simply power off, pull old cartridge out, put new cartridge in, and power back on?

Caller ID not working on Norstar terminal using line dedicated to fax and phone

You must have latest software to have Caller ID
You must have a Caller ID line card
Caller ID must be programmed on the phone to allow it
Caller ID signal from carrier is sent between 1st and 2nd call

FYI on the fax: Analog ports (ATA's) on the Norstar system do not show Caller ID, instead you would need to use a line share device that supports caller id such as the STICK.

Nortel Meridian Norstar-Plus Compact ICS with #7310 phones.

I'm pretty sure CID is automatic on a CICS....IF you have a CID trunk card. You might want to post the part number on the face of the trunk and we'll see if it's the proper one.
