Hello. You can not connect any speaker to TV directly. You TV have non-amplified output on the back "Audio out" that you connect using red and white RCA style cable into home theater system or some other audio amplifier. Amplifier itself should have outputs for speakers. Amplifier and speakers have to match. If you have just bare speaker/speakers I would recommend to get rid of it and purchase cheap home theater system that would definately solve your problem. They come with instructions and diagrams of how to connect it to TV. Regards. Russ.
You might try changing your source (use HDMI instead of coax).
Otherwise, time for external speakers. There is a line level audio output on this model, this would be connected to a surround processor or similar, then to speakers.
Most HPs have a utility in the Conrol panel for speaker jack output assignment, verify you have them plugged into the green jack not blue/pink, verify that the digital output only is not selected in the speaker control panel. you say built in speakers , are these in the monitor, some HPS have two outputs that can be controlled individually, again this is in the control panel audio properties utility, sometimes there is a audio icon by the clock (bottom right) that will also adjust these settings, but the "control panel" way is more reliable.
Try the main resets in the back by the a/v in and out jacks. If this does not work, call Sharp Customer Service and tell them that you already did the resets. There is a known problem with a heat dissipation pad and they will send a repair tech to replace the pad for free, even if you are out of warranty.
Forget Sharp's defective speakers. Connect your sound output to powered stereo speakers and disable the internal speakers (look through the TV's menu). The operator's manual explains how to disable the internal speakers. You'll be able to control the sound normally (mute, volume) with a remote control. I connected my stereo output (2 RCA plugs) to an old boom-box and I get better sound than with Sharp's built-in speakers.
hi first of all u should check ur transistor connections.Check your Horizontal and vertical output transistors. You should also check the horizontal and vertical yoke connections as well as your low voltage regulators.... if any of these got damaged u should purchase a new one.. but try to purchase with the help of a tv service assistant...thank u!!! rate me
Yes, its absolutely possible. You can connect external speakers from analog output of TV. Even you can use AV receivers available in the market which can be used to amplify OR process the tv sound with latest digital processing techniques, it would be very much pleasant than the sound from tv.
"Line" level audio output is available at the audio output phono jacks at the top of the rear panel, but not speaker-level output. So, you'll need an amplifier to use in conjunction with your external speakers. (An alternative would be "powered" or "amplified" speakers that have their own amplifier, but often are less satisfactory acoustically). You don't necessarily need to get a full-fledged "receiver" with multiple in's & out's... I simply used an inexpensive stereo amplifier.
Connect the "Audio L - R" jacks on the rear of the set to the "line" or "aux" inputs on your chosen amplifier and speakers. If you go into the set's Menu - Option - Output Select and set it to "Variable", the internal speakers will be disabled, and you can control the volume (and muting) of the audio sent to the amplifier, and still have "armchair" control of the volume as before... but now with better stereo!
