I just got an email this morning from Wilcom that suggested that they are working on something for a Mac. "Wilcom Elements 3" If another expense for new software isn't an option I would consider getting a secondary computer.... a PC.

If you can run PC at all... go to a pawn shop and buy one specifically for your embroidery machine. A couple years ago I got a 1 year old PC for my husband for $60 at a local pawn shop. I needed to clean out the former owner's personal pictures and tax info... but I was able to access and restore the factory settings and it runs like new.

I am trying to help a friend who got Vista 32 bit OS and cannot use her transfer cable. She is on dial up so I thought I'd locate the driver and take it to her. I am having no luck finding it. She has her original machine CD but I did not find the driver there. She has no other software for embroidery. What's next?

You can use any machine embroidery software brand.

There are many that have free trials and demos. Embird is one brand that is very popular.

You start with Embird Studio and then add other programs as you become more knowledgeable about machine embroidery.

All ME software products run on Windows XP, Vista and some are now compatible with W7.

Please be more specific with the clicking noise that you are hearing- when does it make that noise, is the bobbin case in or out, where is it coming from,

There are different programs for 350E. I think, you was buy program different.

Simply contact your nearest Janome dealer, or the Head office in your country and they will be pleased to assist and outline the options available.

You need to have Customizer og Digitizer pro to send design by cable to you MC10001.

You can also use a PCMCIA adapter in your MC10001 and a CF memorycard..you also need a memorycard reader to write to your CF card from your computer
