I have a Ryobi 725R weed trimmer. It starts and will run on 1/2 choke only. After about 5 minutes it shuts down, like it's out of gas but all fuel lines are full. Help??

Your carburetor is dirty. Disassemble and spray with carb. cleaner. Make sure the small screen is free of debris as well. Use a Den tek Brush, (http://www.dentek.com/shop.php?target=products&product_id=7), to clean the small portals in carb.

Why will my Ryobi 725r weed eater's throttle not respond on no choke but will respond on 1/2 choke?

I would inspect carb and see what the difference is between 1/2 choke and no choke. Set the choke, move the throttle and look into carb- doesnt need to be running. Sounds like something is still restricting airflow at no choke.

I have a Ryobi S430 4 stroke Weed Eater Trimmer. How many times do i pump the choke (primer) to start cold?

chokes are an obstruction placed over the inlet to increase the vacuum in the carby and cannot be pressed
Primer bulbs are used to suck fuel through the diaphragms to expell all of the air in the system to allow starting
normally press the primer bulb until it is full of fuel
apply the choke and pull until it fires
remove the choke and at full throttle pull until it starts

Have a ryobi ss26 weed whacker and having a problem getting it started.. the instruction manual is missing and after priming the unit, moving it to full and trying to crank it, it will not hit and when it...

Sounds like you need a new spark plug and probably a new gas filter. To start the weed eater it is recommended to pump the primer bulb seven times and the choke full down. You can get the fuel filter out of the tank with a hooked wire. Good luck.

My Ryobi weed eater loses power at working speed after 5 minutes.

you need to replace fuel filter inside the fuel tank . fish it out with and empty tank using a coat hanger and a small hood bent on the end.filters are around $9.00

Ryobi weed trimmer

check the fuek lines for hole and leaks, check the fuel filter and clean if necessary. remove the carbuerator and inspect the gasket; it should be soft and flexible, if it seems hard or brittle replace it. clean the carb with carb cleaner sray (available at any local auto parts store) and compressed air. make sure you get inside the small fuel rail holes. also check the primer bulb for pin holes and proper seating/seal. i
