It will depend on where exactly it has 'come loose' from. Considering the cost involved is it worth repairing?
If it is just the glass sheet and none of the working / moving parts, it is held in place with a strong adhesive/glue. It should re-stick with Careful use of a good quality contact adhesive or superglue.
If some of the mechanism has come loose it would be easier to simply replace the entire set of scales.
My glass plate broke a very long time ago. you don't really need it. take a regular ceramic plate and turn it UPSIDE DOWN Then you can set anything on top of it to cook. Just a thought and Good Luck.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Glass top plates? In a microwave oven? All I know is the glass turntable tray. And if it's not turning around, you either have that feature turned off (a dedicated button on the control panel), or else the turntable motor is bad.
I looked up your cooktop and discovered it to be made by Frigidaire.
Hence & therefore, try the website "searspartsdirect" and see of they will give you schematics to buy the parts for your needs.

you not need to take off the middle plate to replace the glass.
just disconnect the flex avle for the glass and then heat up glass by hair dryer for 10 minute.with tool gently start pulling glass from the top part.
you will be able to remove it completly.

I dont have a picture at the moment but if you lift the document feeder up to expose the large plate glass, the small plate glass is normally situated at the extreme left hand side of the large plate glass.
it's called the "hammer method"... i think you get what i'm talking about, and nonstructural glass (aka anything but the windshield) isn't expensive to replace anyways. Good luck!
and remember, wear safety glasses and toss the hammer instead of striking it directly. use a small sledge hammer preferably.
note where the dirt is located,unplug all wires from back, remove top hinged cover, undo 2 screws at the top, remove cover plate by gently tipping toward top, slide glass with plastic sides up and out, clean with approved cleaner, reverse to reinstall glass (plug in power cord prior to replacing top cover plate to check for any missed fingerprints or dirt on underside of glass), once your happy with cleaning complete the reassembally.
Have look where the paper feeds into the tray at the top.
Most likely there is a piece of rubbish stuck in there, another piece of paper or some fluff or something. Blow it out and give it another try.
If this doesnt work open the lid and have a look to the far left of the plate glass. you will notice a small plate glass seperate from the main plate running parallel with the main plate. Clean this with a damp cloth and some window cleaning detergent. Sometimes correction fluid gets wiped off onto this portion which acts as the Scanning Region for documents inserted on the top feeder. This causes a "permanent" black object being scanned for copying, hence the black stripe.
