My keyboard will abruptly stop working. I have to restart the computer to get it to work again. Sometimes I have this problem intermittently or sometimes its non-stop. I can't find a driver to reinstall it or update it. I have uninstalled it and allowed the computer reinstall it on its own. Nothing is working. What do I do?

This sounds alot like a virus i once had!
try a system restore to the point before these problems occured. if that doesnt work run a full virus scan. If that doesnt fix the problem you may have to wipe the hard drive completly.

go to start, control panel, performance and maintanance, system, hardware, device manager. If you see any question marks on any of the devices, then you need to reinstall the drivers for that device, but if there are no warnings then you may need check into it further.
