SOURCE: My iPod won't sync...

Well, in theory you really shouldnt have connected it with another computer as they are only designed to sync to the same (origional) computer. But on the origional one you need to make sure that all itunes upgrades have been done and that the usb is connecting properly, maybe trying it with another usb cable? I hope I mhelped, if not contact apple as soon as you can.

SOURCE: i accendentally locked my ipod nano 8gb and i dont

hi there, my suggestion is to do a hard reset. (WARNING) if you have important TV shows or music on the ipod, do not do this process, call apple customer support. Here is how it is done, if you have another computer, reinstall itunes on another computer, and then connect the iPod. When the iPod window opens, click restore. It will give you a warning about reseting it. Click yes, and the process will begin. It will then format the iPod and give you a clean slate with nothing installed. And then the screen lock will be gone.

Ipod classic won't sync with itunes 10

Restarting your computer is often the solution when your iPod fails to sync with your iTunes music library. But if this fails, there are other troubleshooting steps to take.

Recharge your iPod via a USB cable connected to your computer or AC adapter. b> Click the help menu in iTunes and check for updates. Follow the onscreen prompts to download and install the latest version of the software. Open the new version of iTunes. Click the name of your iPod in the source list and check for updates under the summary tab to update your iPod. Attempt to sync your iPod with iTunes. Slide your iPod's hold switch to the hold position and then to off. Press and hold the menu and center buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears to reset your iPod. Open iTunes on your computer and reconnect your iPod to try to sync it with iTunes. Restart iPod service b> Close iTunes and make sure your iPod is disconnected from the computer. Click the 'start' button. Click 'run' if using Windows XP. Type 'services.msc' in the run box in XP and in the search box in the start menu in Windows 7 and Vista. Press 'enter.' Scroll through the list and double-click on 'iPod service.' Click the 'stop' button and leave the properties window open. Connect your iPod to the computer. Open 'my computer' or 'computer' and look for your iPod listed in the devices with removable storage section. Click the 'start' button in the iPod Service's properties window. Open iTunes to attempt to sync your iPod. Close the iPod Service's properties window once your iPod has finished syncing. Resolve "Original File could not be Found" Double-click the name of a song in the iTunes program that failed to sync to your iPod. Click 'yes' or 'locate' to the message asking you if you want to locate the file. Navigate to the folder or directory location where the song is stored on your computer. Double-click the song file to select it and add it back to iTunes. Reconnect your iPod to the computer and open iTunes to restart the syncing process. Hi,

You can transfer the songs from the old iPod to the new iPod using the iTunes Software installed in the Computer. It is required to connect the old iPod to the Computer and sync the songs to the iTunes Software. Select the Sync iPod option from the File Menu. Once you sync the songs from the old iPod you can connect the new iPod and Sync again to transfer the songs from the iTunes.

You can try those steps:
1. Fet a video converter just like Leawo iPod Video Converter.
2. Convert your videos to the MP4 format with H.264 code, or you can choose profile as iPod Touch.
3. drag the MP4 videos into iTunes and sync into your iPod.

I just updated my ipod touch and now all of my songs are gone off of it and i cant get them back

Any time you connect it to a new computer it will ask you to sync the ipad with that computer. This erases all previous software and music. The only way to get it back is to redownload it through itunes (if you purchased it from them originally) or to get the original MP3's back and put them onto the device by dragging and dropping into the new computer's itunes.

Ipod won't sync

An iPod can be synced with only one iTunes library at a time. once you got a new iTunes library or a new computer. You have to authorize your iPod to it at first, then you can upload music and video from the new iTunes to your iPod. But this way will overwrite the originial files on iPod with the new iTunes. You may try this iPod transfer, it can help you copy files from iPod to computer for backup, you can also use it as an iTunes alternative to upload music and video. It will not erase your original iPod files. It's safe and works pretty well for me. http://www.ipod-transfer-copy.com/ipod-transfer-mediawidget.html
Hope it helps. Contact me if you have any other question.

You can only sync one ipod with one computer so if you put music on it already it will only work with the original computer you synced it with. Same with ANY ipod.

Unlocking a 30gb ipod

The great thing about unlocking iPods is that it is very easy, and almost never wipes out the data.

To unlock the iPod, simply plug it into a computer with iTunes. The iPod should unlock, or at least display the "Do not disconnect" screen. It will not automatically sync with a foreign (other computer than it was originally synced with) computer without first asking you, and if you click no, the iPod should be unlocked.

If this does not solve the problem, notify me and I will try to find a different method of unlocking the iPod.

Happy to help
