I need the users guide Texas Instruments Calculater T1-30SLR+ . I am going to School, and I need to use this calculater for class. I need know how its funtions work, and what all the buttens do. A friend told me that I could have it for class. so I need to know how to use it.I have never used the kind of calculater before. Thank you for your time. Frank Mejia what do you mean valid product?

To calculate square root of 25, enter
[2nd Function]
[square root key]

[close parenthesis key]

the TI 30XII-S calculator then calculates and displays the answer, 5.

Use the ab() function available in the MATH NUM menu. For example, to calculate the absolute value of -4, press
MATH right-arrow 1 (-) 4 ENTER
and see 4.

the actual answer is 0.00096 as calculater is able to display onle three zero upto three decimals places so it is doing this

First-take the batteries out. You should be able to take the case off from the back. Use a q-tip and alcohol. It will clean and dry immediately. Let dry a day to make sure there is no liquid in it before you put the batteries back in.

I went to Office Max and they told me for FREE what batteries go in my old calculater.

go to battery replacement texas instrument ti-30xa or whichever model you have.

place calculater face down
remove screws from back
remove back cover (you have to struggle a bit).
remove batteries and replace with new ones
put back the cover and screws

Press and release the orange 2nd key. Then press and hold the down arrow key until the screen is how you want it.
