Make sure the lamp door is seated properly and back on tight. The door activates a microswitch in the TV and if it fails to do so the end result is the set shuts down with the flashing lights : )
no, sorry. tried this in several cases. it will hold as long as the camera is on, and remains active. These cameras will shut off , or go to sleep for battery preservation if they are not used over a certain time (anywere from 5-10 minutes according to camera brand). Tip: when using the red eye reduction give your subject a heads up about what looks like a double flash. many people will start moving immediately after that first look alike flash effect, producing all those blurry pics since everyone was moving around.
No and no, the flash is by default programed to shut off after 1 minute .If you were using the flash on-camera, the flash
would automatically power itself on when camera activity is detected but
when the flash is detached, it doesn't wake back up. To change this you have to turn off the auto shut off in the flash menu: 1. Power the flash on 2. Hold down the back light /C.Fn button until "Fn 00
0" appears on the screen 3. Rotate the selector wheel until you see
"Fn 01 0" 4. Press your selector button down so that the 0 begins
flashing 5. Rotate your selector wheel to change the 0 to a 1
6. Rotate the selector to the "Fn 14 0" position and set it to 1 7. Press your selector button to save this parameter
8. Press your Mode button to return to the main screen Now your flash stays on as long as the flash switch is turned on ON, and as long as you have juice in the batteries.
Do not forget to turn off the flash after you are done. You can reverse it anytime, but you have to read the manual for that..
hi , i hate to say this but you need to do this asap. Call the playstation support line and send it in. your ps3 is experience a corrupted hard drive. This will only get worse and will eventually shut down for good.
1. Turn on the camera. 2. Set the camera to Still Image mode. 3. Press the Flash button to cycle through the flash settings and select the one you need. The flash range: 3 ft to 6.7 ft (1 m to 2 m).

To take photos with red eye reduction requires your flash to firerapidly before snapping the pic. Make sure camera is in record mode pres the 4 way switch with the lightning sign on it. The flash modes will pop up. select red eye flash.
To fix red-eye after a photo is taken. Bring up the photo in playback mode and press menu button. Red eye reduction should be available as one of the menu items. Otherwise, display the pic, press OK button in center and if you like the fixed picture then select yes to store it.
Sounds like a lens diaphragm problem ( lens stays closed down to F16 and that is why you have a dark viewfinder ). Remove lens and see if you can activate the aperture mechanism via the activator which protrudes from the rear of the lens. You should get nice and brisk action from the aperture . If the movement is sluggish or the lens stays fully closed then your lens needs attention.
