Turn the phone to the side, if that doesnt work, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and a little menue will pop up, tap the icon that on the top right hand corner with the little padlock on it so it goes grey and not white then swipe that back down and turn the phone on it's side again

Save equation fx 991es

In table Mode you can enter the formula for a function and generate a table of values. For a 991ES Plus you can enter two functions. However if you change MODE everything will be erased.
In EQN (equation) there is a certain number of built in formula types you can choose. You will be asked for the coefficients which will be used to solve the equation selected. However if you change MODE your lose what you entered. So basically you cannot save formulas to use as a memory aid (if that is what your intention is.) Sorry.

What functions are used to answere A C Theory questions

It is a generic scientific calculator and not feature rich. It can calculate trigonometric functions, exponentials, logs, powers, combinations and permutations. You must have an idea about what you are calculating in AC circuits and figure out, by reading the manual, what calculations can be performed on this basic scientific calculator. The manual is available online at education.ti.com

Scientific notation when not wanted.

Unfortunately, you don't. For numbers whose magnitudes differ too greatly from 1, the calculator automatically switches to scientific (or engineering) notation. You can press MODE and change the display settings, but there is no setting that will force the calculator to show this number without an exponent.
