Optiarc dvd rw 7530B will read CD,CD-rom but No DVD, DVD-rom

You may try to rip your DVD to mp4 video with enolsoft ripper. If it's still bad, then it's something wrong with your DVD/CD.

This happens much in HP Laptos or computers that the cd or dvd drive will not read dvd's or cd's, we do have a solution for this, I have pasted a weblink below which has all the information on how to fix the issue. It would be very easy for you understand and fix it on your own.

hey gues... we have some problem about my dvd/cd rewritable Drives model AD-7530B . it's my note book HP 520 can detect disk drive , but can not work anything . could you help me and give me information . how i can solution this problem ?... thank's

Laptop Optiarc DVD RW AD 7530 B is not reading CD or DVD media.

1.DVD icon displayed in My Computer.
2.When I insert DVD or Cd in the drive,Green light flashes and tries to read the nedia and goes off within few seconds.
3.DVD drive in My Computer when clicked shows empty folder
4.Uninstalled DVD drivers in Device Manager and let windows find it on reboot
5.Issue still persists.
6.Right now external DVD RW works perfect.

the motor went bad in the drive if its not even trying to spin the disc. The only option at this point is to get the drive replaced.

Sounds like drive drive has took a dump on yah. I would just install a new dvd drive. They are inexpensive and easy to replace. I replaced a drive that was doing the same thing you discribed and it solved my issue.

the combo drive you listed above is a cd-rw/ DVD-ROM....meaning that it will play and burn cd, cd-r, and cd-rw disks. the dvd rom will only be able to play dvd-rom and dvd-r disks providing they are in the proper format. check that the disk in question is not a dvd-rw or (+2) disk. the drive will not recognize that a disk is in the drive if the disk isnt compatable. try a dvd movie, if that works then a dvd-r, if that works then try a dvd-rw +1. if the last option doesnt work then you will have to stick with the dvd-rom and dvd-r, or purchase a dvd-rw drive to install.

Hi, i use an HP pavillion dv6000 with Optiarc dvd rw ad -7561a ata (light scribe). i tried installing a softwear after which my dvd rom will not work it was complaining of driver corruption. i did uninstall and re- installed th driver from the system hard drive. but it will not install correctly. my computer can also not read drive E anymore. can some one help please.
