Did you try boot from the CD with the OS? is it the Same? Did you replace the hard dirive with another?
Is the HDD/CD disk light flashing or illuminate during power up? It should!

Additionally, do youhave the manual, near then end it tells you some keypress actions on power up so it will boot from different areas or devices - ie CD or internal hard disk (operating system boot). It can get confused if you've got a dead disk or a corrupted boot area. There is a repair option once you get it to boot. install OS. IF that does not work, then it a hard disk or disk cable or power issue, If Disk access lamp doesnt come on it means no disk detected. There are some pretty flimsy cables inside which can fail or get dislodged to cause isues. Let me know how you get on. recently my disk was dead I then broke the data cable. Solved it by booting from CD, This installs OS and then swapping the hard drive to the CD cable. on reboot it was normal. I then replaced the ribbon and swapped every thingbacl. Fully sorted.

When i turn my org display is empty

It is power supply regulator problem.
In the regulator circuit, DC 12volt from adapter is separated into +8V, -8V, +5VA, +5VD. Some causes when the unit hang /blank/ frozen is one of the existing supply voltage is drop. In general, +5V.
Also check the adapter voltage, if still normal and the current is sufficient.
Adapter must have DC12volt and current of at least 3 amperes.
It may happen, when the adapter is measured without load, it's read normal 12v, but when loaded to turn on the keyboard, many voltage decreases (lets say, between 8-10v).
This indicates that the adapter is not good and need to replace.

After having been in safe waterproof storage during cyclone season I,ve unwrapped my korg pa 500 and plugged it in but it doesn,t boot up .The sreen is lit well with simply "Korg"...

First thing... make sure you are using the KA320 power adapter with it. We will work from there.

The unit probably is sensing an error of some type. Check these things: That NO key or button is STUCK down. Next, one could try reseating the memory sticks if you have expanded memory.

Let me know if you find a button or key is stuck down (not uncommon when unit has been wrapped) or you are using the wrong power adapter.

When i switch on my Korg PA800, the screen just show's blank. The screen light gets on but just blank blue. What could be the problem?

Hi, Provided your Korg works as normal, besides the display being blank and lit, I may have the answer. It sounds like the contacts connecting the display have somehow become dirty. This could have happened from something getting spilled on the display. To fix is easy enough if you have a little mechanical aptitude. unplug unit/take batteries out,and disassemble unit to gain access to the main circuit board where screen is located, the screen may be held in place with a tin casing either soldered to board or with prong set though the circuit board and twised on the reverse side to hold in place. After removing this there should be a little rubber strip between the screen and circuit board-this is the contact strip that you need to clean with rubbing alcohol. Clean the screen where the contact strip meets the screen. do the same on the circuit board, reassemble and you should be back in business. I hope this was useful, thanks for asking FixYa, and good luck, Prodzilla.

Korg is a great company and when you contact them they will help you. They can tell you how to get the CD and/or how to download and burn it to your own CD. then you can boot up the device
