its very easy tis is the problem comes because of the excissive memory which is in the stick or you are operation the things at buzz speed , for to avoid these problems just master reset every two days ....

I HAVE A SOLUTION!

i literally just fixed mine myself.
if your battery is completely dead (like mine was) unplug the battery, put it back in. put the USB cable into the computer, hold "C" on the handset, plug the charge cable into the phone (keep holding "C") the keypad lights should come on, let go and leave to charge. when thats done, download this http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/detailed/updateservice/c510?cc=gb&lc=en and follow the steps to update your phones software. i hope it's not too late, you've probably got a new phone by now.

First, check if the charging port is properly and snugly connected. Then, check your batteries. Maybe your batteries aren't charging properly. If the battery is self-replacable, try cleaning the golden battery connectors inside first. Or, your battery may need to be replaced

Xperia play sony ericsson r800at light flashes red but want power on

Exact issue that I have. I tested the phone with a multi meter and it shows only 0.02v (ac) while plugged in with not battery on. The battery also shows 0.02v. The phone is not charging correctly causing the red light. I don't know why or how this happened. The battery should be 3.4v and should charge at that same voltage but it's not!

Sounds like either one of 2 problems. 1. The batter is dead and needs replacing (this would explain why the charger isn't doing anything. 2. The phone requires a software re-flash which would have to be carried out by sony erricsson themselves. It might be worth trying a new battery first however. Hope this helps :o)
