27Mhz is a term that describes a broad range of frequencies. 27.1Mhz narrows it down somewhat, 27.14Mhz narrows it down further still and 27.145Mhz is fairly specific for a radio. Many times, these devices support multiple frequencies with a selector switch capable of choosing a frequency that is not already in use. You MUST select the same frequency on BOTH the controller AND the helicopter to communicate properly. Review your instructions or contact the manufacturer if you need more help.

Yes you need the right frequency, I think it is 27.245? But you need to check UK laws & specs.. Shouldn't bee too big a mission though.

SOURCE: New 27 MHZ Helicopter Controller won't turn on

I have a 27Mhz helicoper (looks identical to the one on the picture). I tried to fly it for the first time, but I am having problems controlling it. The left radio control lever sends the helicopter upwards, but the right hand control doesn't seem to do anything and that should make it go backwards and forwards. Can anyone help me as well please?

SOURCE: how do i tune the radio?

Model? brand?

In general, if yours originally had the channel selector and volume control as part of the microphone, the short answer is you don't.

I bought a full function radio controlled toy car 27/49MHZ and it does not work. I've put all new batteries in it and it still does nothing. Can you help me with this problem

I don't understand the 27/49 MHz reference.
Most radio control is 27 MHz.
Licence-free personal communication is 49MHz and in the real world the two frequencies are oceans apart.

Dual frequency band might be a good idea for a full function toy car but usually, considering a manufacturer doesn't often make something better than it needs to be, a radio control tends to be either one thing or the other and not both.

If the cars are available as either 27 or 49 MHz, don't ignore the possibility you might have a radio control that doesn't match the car.

Such toys are rarely built to anything but a mediocre or low quality and faulty goods are far from unknown. It would be wise to know something about what you have and how it works and reading the instructions thoroughly would be a good start.

Don't assume the batteries are all good and test them before fitting them. Ensure the batteries are fitted the right way around first time - the wrong way around could cause terminal damage to the electronics even if only for a few seconds.

I have recently bought a new Cobra 29 LTD BT(new) from the USA not realising it was 27MHz? Does anyone know if you can get them changed to 26MHz? Or does anyone do it? I'm a truckie & would li

It is stuck on 27 by design and FCC rules--those almost never will go down to 26 and if did would require extensive retuning to receive and or transmit there----sell it if you need 26 and buy a Ranger or Galaxy instead.

Lost remote to the HUMMER H2 - will any 27mhz controller work , or does it have to be from FASTLANE?

Any 27 mhz controller would work in ur TOY! Just check the exact frequency of the CRYSTAL in the board of the truck and the controller, they must be almost the same frequency or adjust the tuning in either truck or the controller!

Hi ihave brought helicopter ftw 730 but the remote control was not its own .the helicopter ftw 730 remote control frequency is 40 mhz but the one i have is 27 mhz so how can i make as 40 mhz remote...

Unfortunately you can't. You will need to change the receiver or the transmitter so they are both the same frequency range eg 40mhz or 27mhz. Then you will need to check the crystal is the same frequency for the Transmitter and receiver eg 40.25mhz. NB. you can't put a 27mhz crystal into a 40mhz set or vise versa it won't work.

27 mhz rc helicopter will not operate. The helicopter motor runs fine when powered directly, but will not start using the radio control panel.

WE have bought the Black Hawk Heli with 27Mhz radio system to sell. The Heli's fly great and the Gyro makes them even stable. However when they feel like it, the motor starts running on its own and we had them all returned by clients. What a ******* these were. anyone may know how to rectify this radio problem. I know that 27Mhz frequency is very critical to interference, but this is upsurd.
Anyone with knowledge please give us a solution.
