Is 27mhz the same as 27.145mhz in helicopter remote control radios. i bought a remote control helicopter come with a 27mhz controler. replaced it with a new controler.they sent me a 27.145mhz and said they were the same. the new remote can't find the helicopter, it just keeps blinking.has no other funksion.
27Mhz is a term that describes a broad range of frequencies. 27.1Mhz narrows it down somewhat, 27.14Mhz narrows it down further still and 27.145Mhz is fairly specific for a radio. Many times, these devices support multiple frequencies with a selector switch capable of choosing a frequency that is not already in use. You MUST select the same frequency on BOTH the controller AND the helicopter to communicate properly. Review your instructions or contact the manufacturer if you need more help.

Yes you need the right frequency, I think it is 27.245? But you need to check UK laws & specs.. Shouldn't bee too big a mission though.
SOURCE: New 27 MHZ Helicopter Controller won't turn on
I have a 27Mhz helicoper (looks identical to the one on the picture). I tried to fly it for the first time, but I am having problems controlling it. The left radio control lever sends the helicopter upwards, but the right hand control doesn't seem to do anything and that should make it go backwards and forwards. Can anyone help me as well please?

Model? brand?
In general, if yours originally had the channel selector and volume control as part of the microphone, the short answer is you don't.
