Hi...
If the new receiver doesnt have a specific input in back labeled "phono" , You WILL need a preamp for the phono. Then plug the preamp into the AUX or other available input

Lift off the platter mat, then lift off the platter from the spindle - gently.
Underneath the platter is a sub-platter around which you place the belt - it should be held there by the stretch of the belt while you turn the platter back up the right way and place it back on the spindle.
Turning the platter by hand, you should see a small pulley come into view through one of the holes in the platter. You then stretch the belt slightly so that it slides over the pulley. Take care not to twist the belt while doing this.

SOURCE: Where to get 12 volt power supply for Pioneer PL-203AZ Turntable?

+ is on center pin, and the current consumption is low, not more than 200mA. A 12V wall-wart will do fine.

I would like to set up my old Pioneer PL-514 turntable and my Pioneer SX-550 sterio reciever to listen to some old LPs. I seem to have lost the instructions and connection diagrams. Could you please...

http://www.hifiengine.com/manuals/pioneer/sx-550.shtml
The upper link is for the turntable, the lower is for the receiver. they want you to create an account tu dowlnload so just create an account with them. In my expierience turntables had hook upeads out the back(wires connected) that would hook to phono in on receiver and speakers would hook to receiver via speaker wires(may not be included) by pos and neg. The speaker wire usually either has a rib or a line or writing on on leg so you can identify which wire you would want to be pos or neg.

My Pioneer PL-112D turntable has a broken drivebelt, is it possible to buy a new one, and is there a diagram showing the belt "routing". Thanks.

I don't believe this belt is being provided by the Pioneer. So I did find another option at a reasonable price on E-bay.

no diagram needed...flip the table over, wrap the belt around the inner track then put the table back on, spin the table until the access cut is over the motor then stretch the belt over the back of the motors post and you are done.cheers.
