Sky Router (DG934G) losing connection to PS3

I have a Sky DG934G Netgear router connected to my Mac G4 via ethernet, my HP Compaq 6720s Laptop by wireless and to my Playstation 3 via wireless. Since my last PS3 update I have lost connection from the PS3 to my broadband (sky max). I have read 100's of forum pages on how to solve it, but none work!!! I get connection then it stop's after several minutes. I have put my setting in manually, i.e:

Internet Connection: Enabled
Connection Method: Wireless
Signal Strength: 100%
BSSID: 00:1E:2A:21:48:16
Channel: 1
Security: Wep
Wep Key: ***********
IP Address: 192.168.0.3
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Router: 192.168.0.1
Primary DNS: 208.67.222.222
Secondary DNS: 208.67.220.220
MAC Address: 00:19:C5:51:E4:8A
MTU: Auto
Proxy Server: Do Not USe
UPnP: Available
Nat Type: 2

I have used Sky's own setting, don't work. I have tried with upnp turned OFF and ON, no different! Does anyone know what this problem is! help please!!!!!

IS it something to do with the Port Opening? How do you open the ports on the router as SKY seem to have removed options from the router setup pages!

SOURCE: MY upnp on the router

Once you have enabled UPNP on your router and saved the change, restart your router and your PS3, then try. That should get them on the same page and the PS3 to read that UPNP is enabled.

I want to unlock my Netgear DG934G router which was provided by SKY in UK and want to use in other ISP in India. How to unlock it?

You won't need to unlock it just factory reset it.
If you look at the back of the router next to the power cable there is a small hole to factory reset it you will need to poke a pin or paperclip in there and hold it for about 5 seconds then it should reboot and be factory reset.
Then assuming your pc is connected to it via network cable it's default IP address should be 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
This will probably be on the sticker underneath the unit. as will the default user name and password. so just type the IP address in a web browser and log in to configure.
The link to the manual is here.

What type of Netgear Router you are using?
If you have more than one ethernet ports to your Netgear Router, then connect your switch with a patch cable to the Router. Switch on it and check.
So that can share the resourses.

I have a netgear wireless router, I also have a new PS3, I want to access the internet via the PS3 but have lost my WEP key for the router. Whats the easiest way of finding the WEP key Thanks Darren

wep key or router administrative password?
if you have router admin password, you just go to your router settings and reset, delete all WEP key setting
(i assume one that connect to your router is only the PS3)
The setting should be web-based.
connect a pc to your router using LAN/ethernet port.
Access the router (you should know the router
ip address) via IE ex: http://192.168.0.1/
Read your router manual for details.

Wireless routers

Just plug the cable modem ethernet into the input to your router and you will be fine. Just remember, if you decide you want to make any changes to your router settings through your browser, make sure you hook up an ethernet line from your laptop to the router before making any changes. The reason for this is if you make a change in security settings on your router while wireless, the router will reboot and if your laptop did have the settings changed in it, you can be locked out.
Not that you can't get back in, but it is a pain to have to do.
