Check in control panel if this exist in the hardware list if dont exist install it again but if exist with a X ot ! intall the drivers again be careful to instal the correct driver ver 32bits or ver 64bits

goto add and remove and uninstall cam..Unhook cam restart computer..DO NOT hook up webcam. Install the driver/software then plug cam back in..Most devices have to be unplugged before you install the disc

You don't need to install/update driver for your webcam. Just make sure that the cam is being detected by your computer. Go to control panel and click system and go to device manager. The webcam should be listed under the devices. Here's a website for you to check if your webcam is working.

Did you try (re)installing the webcam drivers? In case you don't have them, try a driver finder program. That will use the webcam details to get the right driver for your operating system.
