I had the same problem trying to send out faxes out using my Brother MFC 7340. I use a magic jack phone line. Page 106 of the user manual says if sending via VOIP phone line, you should press menu, then 2, 0, 1 to select "Basic (for VOIP) mode. Then press ok. Then press stop/exit. This cuts the modem speed down to 9600 bps and turns ECM off. Then retry to send the fax. I did that and can now send and receive faxes.
I have same problem on a Brother Intellifax 775 hooked up to MagicJack - goes thru & appears to work, but get Poor Line Condition message. Worked for two months, no problem. Now can't send fax but can receive. Land line works fine so not the fax machine. Why now after two months of error free transmission. This has been going on for days.
MagicJack is a DIGITAL PHONE SERVICE, your fax machine is ANALOG. You need to hook up a regular phone line .

I also have the Brother Intellifax 775 and found the same problem...I was able to fax without a problem until lately. Does anyone know how to turn off the error correction and slow down the speed of this fax machine? I've tried calling Brother and basically got nowhere as far as adjusting this machine. Magic Jack recommends doing to possibly fix the problem. Magic Jack must have changed something in order for so many people to be having this problem lately.
I have a brother IntelliFAX 1270e Fax Machine with magicjack, its worked great for about 3 weeks with magicjack, and then stoped working with magicjack. ever time i fax something, it does everything great, but when completed it says, error 20 and prints out a page that says "TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION REPORT" NG : POOR LINE CONDITION. MODE STANDARD ECM.
But people can still fax me stuff, but i cant fax out on magicjack, i got to plug it into the land line phone to send faxes. I hate this problem, what can i do to fix it??
