Distorted printingting printing is very wavy and distorted

There are many types of distortion. Each with its own cause. Please describe the type of distortion. Are there vertical lines? Are the images wavy? Are they off-color? Are they blurry? A better description will yeild a better response.

That can be repaired, the vertical and the horizontal that regulate the voltage towards the projection maybe lessen or fulty. you can let the service man/service center repair this. these not much cost you, that is very cheap part and a minimum labor cost.

Are they wavy lines throughout the picture or are they just wavy on the side? Waving picture is usually caused by poor power supply filtering. Wavy lines throughout the picture are caused by interference. Try moving the device away from the computer with an extension USB cable it may be picking up interference from the surrounding electronic devices. It could also be defective.

Its sounds like the convergence is out of alignment. Instructions on how to adjust it is in the manual. If you don't have the manual you can find it on the sony support site.

what brand is this tv and what technology (plasma?)
To me this is plasma problem and maybe samsung brand. a posible adjustment can be done.
