Question about Audio Players & Recorders

Your best bet is the service center unfortunately, getting parts for devices like that are very hard for independent small shops, we usually either have to send them to the manufacturer or their service center anyway, or tell the customer its not repairable. If you can find a board to replace it with chances are that board might not be much better because its used and salvaged out of another unit. Its just how it is with consumer electronics these days, you can't always fix them.

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

You will need to contact Onkyo directly and request the board from the parts department. I was not able to locate a part number for this as we are usually requested to perform component level repairs for these units.

I had the same problem at 1 year after purchase. I was upset. In addition to looking here, I also emailed the company. They took a month to get back to me, but their solution worked perfectly.
"Try resetting the unit by pressing VCR/DVR and the standby/on button at
the same time on the front of the unit while it is turned on. The unit
will display CLEAR and shut down. All settings will be erased. "
All my components connect without any problem now. Hope this helps.

Insignia may not have a code for your remote, BUT your Onkyo remote can learn the button functions directly from your Insignia remote. It is much more tedious because you have to "teach" each button one at a time. However, it is actually quite easy.

Tips for a great answer:
Register and download the manual for free at retrevo.com
The fewer hops and inteconnects a given signal experiences between its source and your senses, the better. I always run the BEST video from any source to the TV first; the best Audio to the BEST audio electronics. If that helps.
