Salman
please start your own post and own facts
The OP never once state is OS, do not flash your PCBIOS for fun!
the OP gave no facts, at all , no symptoms not even a real question asked at all.
so why hyjack any post or worse one that is dead, and bad.
my guess is the OP never heard if acer dot com.
all you do is google acer support and bingo there you are.
1st hit
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support

i then click
acer aspire.
all i can find is 5349

why not join there form , fixya has no books no software and for sure 10,000 firmware upgrades.
ask them what is the best match for you PC.
by exact model
the 9300 is not 5349

9300 bios is unique too.
and if you get this wrong you can brick the PC.

2008 last update, read the warning and heed it, is WISE

It is not charging

I recently had an Acer Aspire One that (after fully discharging) would no longer hold a charge. It worked fine when plugged in, but would turn off right after discharging. This is due to a BIOS error, and this article will show you how to update the BIOS to the official Acer revision 3309.

This article is meant for the AOA110 and AOA150 models ONLY, ingluding the ZG series of AOA110 and AOA150 netbooks.

1. On a separate computer, click here: http://gd.panam.acer.com/

2. Click Netbook -> Acer Aspire One -> AOA150 -> and then below, choose the "BIOS" tab.

3. Click the orange "Down" arrow to download the BIOS.

4. Open the .zip file and extract the two files: "3310.fd" and "Flashit.exe" onto your thumb drive. Rename "3310.fd" to "zg5ia32.fd"

5.Insert the thumb drive into your powered off Netbook.

6.Press and hold down the "Fn" and "Esc" keys and turn on the Netbook while still holding these keys for about 30 seconds, then let go.

7. Your Netbook should stay black for anywhere from 2-4 minutes or so. Once it restarts, safely remove your thumb drive, and charge it for a while. It should successfully hold a charge from now on.

I hope you find it very helpful. Thank you for using fixya.

Acer aspire one won't load windows only a year old

Just go to website: http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_one_150.html, and download the bios update 3309, open the folder and copy two files to a formatted fat usb stick. Rename the file FLASHIT to FLASHIT.EXE and the second file 3309.fd(bios file) to ZG5IA32.FD rename them precisely like that, please check your spelling is correct. Insert the usb stick into the usb left hand side make sure the charger is plugged in . Hold down keys fn+esc and power up the laptop, when the power led begins to blink release the two buttons and press the power button just once, observe the usb stick flashing indicating it's flashing the bios, please note this can take a few attempts, I once struggled for a few hours until I finally tamed the beast :) be patient okay, I would like to point out if you wish to update within winxp use the same bios update 3309 , extract the zipped files to a formatted usb stick and rename the two files again but DO NOT REMOVE or interfere with the other files in the folder , with the laptop up and running open the folder and click on the Insysdeflash file only within the winflash file, this will flash your bios within windows and update it to the latest version, I read that flashing it when using the fn+esc keys merely restores the bios , I have tested this and mine updated to 3309 only when I flashed my bios within windows using the complete d/loaded bios update as mentioned . It will be worth reading the read me file to see what has changed in this bios version, I can tell you that for those out there that have password issues i.e. hdd set, the need to enter password with upper case is not a requirement more and there are a lot more fixes too, enjoy and I hope this bit of info was useful:)

Ok My Acer mini laptop, keeps getting this

Heres what you do....

* you need usb disk drive
* a second computer with internet access (can be work cafe friends place)
* a file you can download from acer or search yourself called ZGIA32.zip

Format your drive in fat (*note i tried fat as directed in a number of manuals though then tried fat32 and it worked then though suggest you try fat first *shrug)

open zip file and copy 3309.fd and the fla.exe to the usb stick

rename 3309.fd to ZGIA32.fd

Turn off your laptop making sure that both battery and power supply is plugged in and attach the usb stik/drive.

hold down FN and ESC keys and press the power button, continue to fold FN and ESC keys for 7-10 secs then release - at this point the power light should be blinking and you should still have the black screen of death.

press the power button once while its blinking - this will initiate a bios update * DO NOT PUSH ANYTHING AFTER THIS

After 2 mins the aspire should reboot itself , wait for about 7mins if it dosent before rebooting manually

Acer aspire one model zg5 battery won't charge

I have exactly the same problem and am searching at the same time as you. I think you are wrong. I think the 150 is for the larger screen model. I think we need the 110.

I think it's this one that i found at acer-euro

ftp://ftp.work.acer-euro.com/netbook/aspire_one_110/bios/v.3309.zip

but I'm afraid to use it (which is not to say I know how). Somthing about putting it onto a USB drive and running scripts. At least that's what they do with this problem on a 150
