I cant install printer usb port is damage

Hi,
Which USB port Damage because there are two USB port available.
One is Printer USB port or Sec is PC USB port.
If you are say PC USB port not working first you check it USB driver installed or not, or USB connect to motherboard or not. PC there are two side USB available one is front side and sec is back side. You connect only back side, because this USB connect to main board. So you connect only back side. If not working removed driver or installed driver.
Or if you are say printer USB then change cable or port or not solved only change option.

My problem is i am connecting the intermec pc4 on the laptop windiows 7 and it does not have a pararell cabel in the laptop i am trying to make the mashine recognize the serial and usb port

Read these instructions. You will need to buy a usb printer cable and follow these directions below. Good luck!
We at our laboratory have about 35 Intermec printers and after much trial and error they work well for us. They practically never break. I have also called their tech support and they were very helpful. They advice was FREE. (I promise I do not work for them)
Intermec Install Notes: (from Intermec)
How do I install the USB driver for my EasyCoder PC4 (PC4B or PC4C) printer?
Answer
Tools Required:
1. EasyCoder PC4 (PC4B or PC4C) printer.
2. Microsoft Windows compatible PC. (XP/2000 recommended, Vista NOT supported ( Note from Dole: it works with Windows 7 and probably Vista and Windows 8)
3. USB Cable.
4. Available USB port on your PC.
5. Latest version of the USB drivers (2.0 or better) which can be downloaded from http://home.intermec.com/eprise/main/GSS/Service/Content/Downloads/Show_DownloadSearchResults?Product=PRTRPC4C
Note: There are two parts to installing the USB driver. You will go through the Found New Hardware wizard two times. The first part is installing USB port and the second part is installing the USB to Serial port.
1. Download and unzip the USB drivers to a location on your PC.
2. With the printer turned off plug in one end of the USB cable to USB port on the printer and the other end in to an available USB port on your PC.
3. Turn the printer On.
4. Now you will get prompted with the "Found New Hardware" dialog box. Select "Install from list or specific location" and click Next.
5. Click Browse and select the location where you unzipped the files in step 1 and click OK.
6. Click Next. The USB driver will now install.
7. Now you will get another "Found New Hardware" dialog box for the USB Serial port. Select "Install from list or specific location" and click Next.
8. Click Browse and select the location where you unzipped the files in step #1 and click OK.
9. Click Next. The USB Serial driver will now install.
10. Now reboot your PC. The newly installed port may not show available until you reboot your PC one time.
The USB port is now successfully installed. In Windows the USB port will be assigned to a Com port. To find out what Com port number is assigned to it go to Device Manager and then Select Ports. You will see USB Serial Port (COMx). In addition, when using the Intermec InterDriver Windows print driver. The USB port will be shown as USB00x and the Description will be Virtual printer port for USB.
(You may need to set the printer as the default printer)
Other things to know about these printers: ( not from Intermec )
1) There are 2 types Direct and Thermal transfer. Direct I think heats up the label to get the writing on the ribbon. Thermal transfer uses a one time use ribbon to transfer images to the label.
2) You should use Intermec labels, if you otherwise the labels will probably not print properly
3) How to reset the printer. Turn off the printer, (in the back) then turn on the printer while holding down the Reset button on the top. Release the reset button when the light turns green then wait for the printing to stop. IMPORTANT: Next press the reset button for 1/2 second. If you hold it too long it will not reset the printer properly.
4) Every user will need to set the default label size.
5) If the print is coming out is hard to read do the following. Open the printer then remove the ribbon if there is one and scrape the metal with your fingernail. They give you alcohol and a cotton pad but your fingernail will work fine.
6) Another problem we have sometime is a label falls off and covers a sensor so the labels do not know when to stop. This hardly ever happens but look under the labels and check the sensor.

I would recommend buying a Printer parallel port connection (PCI to LTP1), install it into the system, and use the printer parallel cable.

My pc won't detect my printer, my printer is brother dcp 150-c

have you connected the printer's USB port to your CPU? If not, then do so. If after doing it, still your PC don't detect your printer, make sure you have a functional USB port. To check it, try using a USB Flash drive if it works with your PC. If it won't, you might have to "Enable" your USB at your BIOS.

Computer won't recognize USB ports

If you are plugging a USB device into a different port it takes some time to recognize and install it - it re-installs for every port. There could be cable and/or port issues as well. Plug the printer into a USB port that the mouse does work on and allow several minutes for it to detect install it.

Zebra LP 2844 parallel communication problem

The printer is installed on the PC using a specific port. If it's installed on the USB port, it won't work on the parallel port. Do you have this printer installed 3 different times? Need more details such as how was it installed the first time? And if it's working on the other 2 ports, why does it have to work on the parallel?

Print through the USB port to a USB printer

This capability is available as an installable option from 3rd party software vendors, and possibly from some printer manufacturers. A compatible printer with a Pocket PC 2002 driver is required. See www.Westtek.com
