Just ressurected my monitor after about 12 months non use. Pushed the buttons and memory FAILED came up on the screen. Battery should be ok as it was only replaced last year. Regrads Garry
Do you repair watches? I have a wrist watch brand Polar? Problem is empty the battery, I put a new battery in a day is discharged, what is the problem, if you can help me ?? permeable is a little moisture on the cover of the battery.
Hi Garry,
I suggest the first thing to try is to replace the battery.
It uses a DL2025 or a CR2025. Your battery should measure 3 volts, and should be constant. Some batteries will hold some charge, appear OK, but have no power and the voltage drops very quickly.
Check the replacement procedure for the battery. Check the battery flat metal holding strap is clean and in place correctly.
Make sure you can reset the time as this will indicate the heart rate monitor is working

Hello glmatta, The unit can be repaired. Remove the units battery. Remove the screws holding the case together. Carefully open the case on a table covered in cloth, T-shirt type cloth, disconnect the flat ribbon cables, lightly clean with a #2 pencile eraser, reinsert cables. Use the same steps on PCbd pin connections. Important question, Do all of the buttons have the same amount of snap when pressing & releasing? If not you have a bad keypad. A bad button swith will cause tis type of malfunction. Contact the Mgfr requesting technical support for possible replacement part and cost.

Had the same problem. Just figured it out. The center Polar Logo on the strap needs to touch your chest in a firm way. Bend it back slightly so it fits snug on the middle of your chest.

No. all the solid rubber straps are sealed in batteries. Only the T-31 wealink has a replaceable battery. The T-31 will work with your S-150 watch. If you need a replacement because yours has stopped working then that is an option. It's about $10- more.
