How can I download India map for tomtom via 220

The VIA models act as servers and the map doesnt actually download to your computer. It uploads itself to tomtom servers, gets rewritten and then downloaded back on to the tomtom unit. They have done this to prevent map illegal copying, sharing

IF the unit is SECOND HAND ???... it is possible you may not have the correct MAP SET installed ... OR you may have to CHANGE [in MENU] to US MAPS ...
My TOMTOM has a option to choose which COUNTRY maps I wish to use as I have Australia AND all of South-East Asia mapsets loaded separately on my GPS ...

It does not really matter where you bought your TomTom one ... but I am sorry to advise you that THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO INDIA MAP FOR TOMTOM V2. You can see what Maps can be purchased or used for your unit by going to the following official site: http://www.tomtom.com/products/maps/select.php?D=31

for now, there is 3 disc region codes,

ntsc for north america and south america, (united states,canada,mexico,chile and Brazi)

ntsc-j for Asia, (hongkong Japan, Korea, Singapore and Taiwan)

pal for Europe, South africa, India Australia, and new zeland


if your console was bought in us, you should be able to use game discs with ntsc region code, this is shown on the cd itself and the case of the cd...

You can use TT home software to do that

This may be a problem with your ps3 as they are region free. mine is from china and plays all british games fine and blu ray movies email sony @ [email protected]

And just press 9 to chose REGION FREE

There are no India maps for tomtom. For India maps you may use Mapking, SatNav or MapMyIndia (best maps but with lousy software).
