My Sony Walkman NWZ-S616F just suddenly stopped working with my computer. It doesn't charge when plugged into the computer, and the computer doesn't recognise it at all. I have tried formatting the Walkman (through it's own menu), resetting the Walkman, as well as restoring the device to factory settings. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

You can charge your walkman onto your cable box (if own one) and download music and videos off of youtube. Go into my documents and type in brand name into files and it might recognize it.

I had the same problem. I had not had any problems for months and suddenly it wouldn't connect. I got on live chat w/ Sony (3 times) and finally got someone who seemed to know what they were doing. I have a Sony computer and they had to send me a link for a USB "patch". After downloading it, it fixed it.
I'm pretty sure I fixed a similar problem. Go to your device manager on your PC and uninstall the walkman driver. After this is complete just plug the walkman back into you Pc and the plug and play will download the driver again. This worked for me. My operating system is Windows vista.
