Hi Daniel, I believe that your problem may be connected to the safety locking devise which will not allow the lever to shift until the brake is pressed and the button pushed in. It may be a bad contact. Regards John
i would go to the rca website and check with them there is a way to do it with out a code from the book i just cant remember the exact sequence,i think you turn on the device then press the devise button and hold power till the power button starts blinking then keep pushing the power button till the devise goes off then you must hit the stop button on the remote right after the devise goes off then you should be able to turn the devise on using the remote
Hmm give this method a try.
Turn off computer remove AC power adapter. Remove the battery and press the power button for 30 seconds continuously. This removes the static from the system. This process is called as Power drain. This works in most of the cases.
Good Luck !!!
Turn power off and unplug power from computer.
Unplug printers,backup drives and speakers.
Open case and unplug power supply from the board.
plug power cord back in press the power button.
Of course nothing will happen.
unplug power cord again.
plug power supply back into the board.
plug power cord backup and press power switch.
If nothing happens unplug power cord again.
pull out your memory sticks and plug cord back in and press power button.
Of course not much will happen.
But really something is happening to your computer so continue.
Pull power cord and replace memory sticks.
replace power cord and press power switch.
Continue this pulling out pci cards one at a time until you find out what the problem might be.
Try different keyboards and mice too.
Good Luck
You will need to reset the Netcommand and tuner settings in the set.
The little indented button in the front of the set needs to be pushed in (when the set is off). The front light will blink for about a minute or minute and a half.
Then, reprogram the Netcommand settings.
This should solve your problem.
