My nokia 6085 mini display wont light . You can see the time displayed but it is dark.

your device has problem of flat cable, see on you tube how to change flat cable of your device or search on Google (service manual level 3), if you are not able to change, give some oficial repairer.

First i have to need to know had you reinstall your phone operation system? that means flash system. but you said you changed your lcd display. that means you hadn't no lcd fault. i think in your mobile motherboard capacitor or diod problems which block your lcd displaying system. please consult in your near any professional technician. thanks

The only thing you can change is the screen saver for the "mini display" - Settings, Mini Display, Screen Saver, then choose "Digital Clock" - when the screen saver kicks in you'll see the time in nice large numbers.

The mini display is monochrome so you can't change the color.

go to security settings and select restore factory setting and if ok then good but not feed back then its may be ribbon lekage. so u need change ur ribon and go to tecniciation

I had the same problem and mine was 2 months over the year warranty. I took the outer screen casing off and slightly tapped the connector that connects the screen to the keypad. Voila! I had a screen and now I can at least move my info. The top of casing on the screen pops off near the hinge (there should be a notch). Do this gently and lightly move the black connector on the right side as you're facing the hinge. It may buy you a little more time. We'll see how mine does.

its a hardware problem, its FPC cable is tampered plz get it replaced by Nokia Care or call me at 99999-16148 India

take the front cover off. look for a block next to the camera lens, and gently press that.

I had this problem once, i just turned the phone off and took the battery out for about 5 min, and when i turned it back on it was back to normal
