You have to do a master reboot on the phone.. that will clear up the things that you cant erase... Hard reset:
1. Power off
2. Push both white dash keys and power up.
3. At T mobile screen it will change to black with writing and instructions.
4. Let go of soft keys and push send (follow directions on screen).
5. Formatted!

Alert message pops us : low on free storage space, delete old or unsused items, however there is nothing to delete

delete all email texts un-necessary files and clear your search history on you internet, you may want to use a card for storage, on your email you can set it to store to card and can also do that for photos and files.

Low memory

The solution was to do a hard reset on the phone. It literally cleared everything off the
phone. Luckily I had everything backed up. Phone works great now.

Storage space

look in UAContents folder. IT's keeping a copy of every image you send via MMS. Delete those and you're set.

i have a dash...i hate it, but i got that message a lot too, but i got a mini 2 GB storage card and i have all the space i need...it was like $25 bucks and if i just store all my pics and voice notes to the card, the phone never gave me that message again.even without erasing all of my texts. :-)
