How can I edit an address I already have stored in my IBM Wheewriter 6 without deleting it entirely and retype it in and storing it again?

You do not have to purchase a manual for this one job. There is a free copy at http://images.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/index/en.html
Just go to the bottom of the page for "Typewriters" and choose your model. I believe the answer you are looking for is on page 3-25. I have looked at it myself. Here are the steps.

Always open the storage before making a revision.
    - The store light must be on.
Pressing Store + the number (1 to 99) always opens storage at the beginning of a job.
If you play back too far or want to start over:
    1. Press Play to stop playback
    2. Press Store + the number (1 through 99)
    3. Press Play. (Playback starts again at the beginning of the job.)

Use the Correction key to erase unwanted carrier returns from Stored job:
    1. Press Play or Play+Spacebar until the carrier return playb
    2. Press the correction key.

After making a revision hold down Play while you press and release the Spacebar several times to make sure the next few characters play back correctly.

When revising indented jobs, be sure to stop playback at the word or character you want to revise. Remember, you cannot use the Correction key to erase characters typed before you press Code+Tab or Code+Crtn. Therefore, if you play back too far, you may need to start playing back again from the beginning of the job.

Let me know if there is anything else needed.

HOW DO YOU CHANGE THE CHARACTER PITCH

    Hi,
You have not specified which printer you are using.
    1. In a serial printer having a displaceable printing head and being selectively operative in a setting mode for setting a variable character pitch and in a normal mode for effecting a printing operation according to the set character pitch: a plurality of manually operable switches each having assigned thereto a normal function which is performed when the switch is operated when the printer is in the normal mode and having assigned thereto a setting function which is performed when the switch is operated when the printer is in the setting mode, at least one of the switches having a setting function which effects selective displacement of the printing head to one of a plurality of predetermined positions each corresponding to a different character pitch; means for producing character pitch data effective to specify a desired character pitch according to the selected position to which the printing head is selectively displaced; and storage means operative when the printer is in the setting mode for setting therein the desired character pitch data for use during a printing operation of the printer in the normal mode.

    2. A serial printer according to claim 1; including controlling means for controlling the serial printer to effect changeover between the normal mode and setting mode.

    3. A serial printer according to claim 2; wherein one of the switches has a setting function which enables the controlling means to set the setting mode.

    4. A serial printer according to claim 3; wherein two of the switches have setting functions which effect selective displacement of the printing head in opposite directions.

    5. A serial printer according to claim 3; wherein one of the switches has a setting function which enables the storage means to set therein the desired character pitch data.

225 mr will not play burn MP3's

I have the manual and copied it verbatim for you. Please let me know if you need me to scan the manual for you. Acceptable medium formats: The following formats are available for the media used in this unit. The maximum number of characters used for file name including the delimiter (".") and three-character extension are indicated in parentheses. ? ISO 9660 Level 1 (12 characters) ? ISO 9660 Level 2 (31 characters) ? Joliet (64 character; Up to 32 characters are displayed) ? Romeo (128 character; Up to 64 characters are displayed) ? Long file name (200 characters; Up to 64 characters are displayed) ? Maximum number of characters for folder name: 64 (Joliet; Up to 32 characters are displayed) For a list of available characters, see the instruction manual of the writing software and the section Entering file and folder names below. The media reproducible on this unit has the following limitations: ? Maximum number of directory levels: 8 ? Maximum number of files per folder: 255 ? Maximum number of folders: 50 MP3/WMA written in the formats other than the above may not be successfully played and their file names or folder names are not properly displayed. Settings for your MP3/WMA encoder and CD writer Do the following setting when compressing audio data in MP3/WMA data with the MP3/WMA encoder. ? Transfer bit rate MP3: 8 ?320 kbps WMA: 48 ?192 kbps ? Sampling frequency MP3: 8, 11.025, 12, 16, 22.05, 24, 32, 44.1, 48 kHz WMA: 32, 44.1, 48 kHz When you use your CD writer to record MP3/WMA up to the maximum disc capacity, disable additional writing. For recording on an empty disc up to the maximum capacity at once, check Disc at Once. Play mode may not be possible when portions of the functions of Windows Media Player 9 or higher are used. Entering ID3 tag: The Displayable ID3 tag is ID3 version 1.x. For the character code, refer to the List of Codes. Entering file and folder names: The code list characters are the only file names and folder names that can be entered and displayed. If you use any other character for entry, the file and folder names are not displayed correctly. They may neither be displayed correctly depending on the CD writer used. The unit recognizes and plays only those MP3/WMA which have the MP3/WMA extension (.MP3/.WMA). A file with a name entered with characters not on the code list may not play correctly. Writing files into a medium: When a medium containing MP3/WMA data is loaded, the unit checks all the data on the medium. If the medium contains a lot of folders or non-MP3/WMA files, therefore, it takes a long time until the unit starts playing MP3/WMA. In addition, it may take time for the unit to move to the next MP3/WMA file or a File Search or Folder Search may not be performed smoothly. Loading such a medium may produce loud noise to damage the speakers. ? Do no attempt to play a medium containing a non-MP3/WMA file with the MP3/WMA extension. The unit mistakes non-MP3/WMA files for MP3/WMA data as long as they have the MP3/WMA extension. ? Do not attempt to play a medium containing non MP3/WMA.
