After i remote start car and it shuts off after 12 minute period it sets the alarm on, sometimes it does and sometime it doesn't. Other problem i don't hear any chirps at all. It's on 09 Mitsubishi Lancer
How long do you want it to run? Thats normal go into setup if you want to change

The secondary chirp alerts you to an open trigger, probably the hood pin switch since the car is not remote starting. Check under the hood for a broken or bent out of place hood pin switch. Make the adjustment so the pin makes contact with the hood when the hood is closed.

Apparently the alarm is set to passive arming and, once you disarm it, it immediately begins the arming process and it is not registering the door being open. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the alarm door trigger is wired to the dome light and the dome light is turned off; an issue that occurs with GM vehicles that have a dome light override switch. What's the year, make and model of the vehicle?
