Need motor control board for triumph 415T treadmill. Daughter dropped metal object on board and burned resistor R13 on large part of board and Q1 and Q2 SMD transistors on small board attached to end of large board. Also burned part of traces from transistors so can't tell exactly where they go.

6)After you measure the +5vdc coming from power supply see if coming to motor controller board and then display board.

Attached the block diagram for better understanding and diagnostic foryourself.

If you can walk on your treadmill but you get a burning smell from it, you have a bad problem and discontinue use immediately and unplug the treadmill.

Burning smells are most commonly associated with the following problems:

1) Very high belt/deck friction.

2) Short in the motor.

3) Short in the wiring or electronics.

4) Literally cooking the lacquer or cardboard core (on cheap machines) in the motor from belt friction or a drive system

obstruction.

Friction is the #1 cause of this problem. Many cheaper treadmills have a motor with a cardboard core (people wonder why we are so

down on cheap treadmills) and if the voltage and amperage through the motor heats it up sufficiently, it begins to smolder. If this is the

case, you normally have to replace the belt and the motor and inspect the deck. If the armature has cooked enough in the motor, you

also have to replace the motor.

If the belt and deck check out OK, check for a short in the motor. You can run the motor with an independent power source like a fullycharged

cordless drill battery to see if the symptoms are the same. Click on the following link for our motor test.

If the belt and deck check out and the motor is OK, then check your wiring and electronics for signs of scorching and replace the

appropriate part(s).

D) Controller:

This is the most uncommon of the causes. Typically replacing a controller in this situation will not solve the underlying problem and then

you will end up replacing a belt as well as a control. Normally if a

control is dropping output, it will do it with a person on the belt or not. Tests of DC output dropping is normal in many controls since they

have a current limiter which will automatically drop output to prevent burning up the board. This is best diagnosed by eliminating the

other possible problems first. If you are left with the control as the cause,

replace the control.
If you need additional help, please reach me, sincerely. God bless you.

Our machine display show the following masage MOTOR CONTROLLER COMM DRD

two possible issues
one, unplug treadmill remove hood and make sure the main power connector to the motor control box is in properly then turn treadmill back on this has worked for me before
two , you have blown the overload resistor on the motor control board (mcb) to check this unplug treadmill and remove the steel motor control box from under the hood remove the motor control board from inside the box and inspect it for damage and /or electrical burn smell
if you find damage you will need to get it repaired contact glide fitness products in santa ana california 1866 637 4600 for all information including shipping . it cost $200 plus shipping which is a deal since a new one is $1000,i have many repaired by them
a common issue for the overload to blow is friction between the belt and deck board . if you have an auto waxer , the waxer nozzle is usually plugged . the nozzle should be cleaned once a month
contact glide for their non clogging wax to resolve this issue
good luck

AC & Heater Fan on fast spped only

Most of the time this is a bad "blower motor resistor". It is easy to replace. You will find your behind the glove box in the ac/heater (evaporator) housing. Below is a pic of the resistor as it is seen from behind the glove box. 1. resistor assembly. 2. harness 3. fasteners (2). 4. lower edge of glove box. (open).
