Hi, okay there two things the batteries and the charger, can you try another charger ?

1. Batteries need replacing ?? make sure battery terminal connections are tight.

2. How long are you charging the batteries for ? i hear you say that's a silly question however you be surprised how many people charge their batteries for a hour then remove the charger.

3. Is the charger faulty ?

4. there is a remote possibility of a controller fault however this is not common..

In relation to the charger if you're in the UK, I offer a free testing service , you only pay the return postage...

Regards
Rob

SOURCE: battery power on mobility scooter

The Hand Control has probably bent in from use. ( Where she Pushes the throttle Control )
Grab a hold of it and bend it out towards you slightly
The part about the indicator going down when she moves and back up when she stops is normal

SOURCE: the battery is fully charged but the scooter will not move.

Is it the small portable scooter? The one with the base that comes apart for transporting? Could it be a bad connection where it goes back together?

If it is the portable, try disconnecting the rear drive portion from the base and re-installing it so it clicks into place.

SOURCE: electric mobility scooter says charge is full but won't run

This sounds she has tripped her circuit breaker. It works just like the one on your house, when you ask too much of it it suddenly goes 'pop' and seems to be dead.

Looks like you have the same scooter as mine, it should be a little white button on the back of the base. If you follow this link, it will give you a pdf version of the older model pride victory manual, (Mine is a three, they are up to about 10!) See fig. 8 on page 20 and 'Circuit Breaker' on page 21. Also, Page 33 has the troubleshooting info. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: need a manual for a freerider kensington S

most scooters are equiped with a seat that can be turned through ninety degrees so that it i eaier to get on and off the scooter if this is the cae for the scooter you have and own then turn the scooter seat ninety degrees so that the seat is side on to the base then grab a hold of the base of the seat and lift you sould find the scooter seat is easily removeable and can be then replaced in the same manner in some cases you have to hold down the lever that enables the seat to be turned to do this and lift the seat at the same time once you have turned it through the ninety degrees this is the case for almost all mobility scooters now however there are a few exceptions failing this then read te manual you should of got with your scooter when you purchased it however you may not have one if you purchased the scooter second hand but if this is the case you can usually find the appropriate soloution by entering the name and make and model of your particular scooter into a web search engine you may have to visit several web sites before you find the manual you are seeking but most of them are out there in cyberspace somewhere good luck and best wishes I hope your scooter brings you many hours of joy and freedom

Hi, my wife's freerider Mayfair mobility scooter keeps going slow, have turned speed control down but still seems to loose power, doesn't stop just slows then reverts back to the speed set.

there are four possible reasons why a mobility scooter loose power including the user weight (vs. max weight of a mobility scooter), the weather condition, the riding routine and the battery age. You can check those factors to figure out the root cause. http://trustedmobilityscooters.com/reasons-mobility-scooters-loose-power

How many miles can I get from a fully charged Freerider Ascot 4 mobility scooter? My scooter seems to run out of charge after a few miles.

11 miles on full charged new batteries, this is approximately as condition change max distance, like you weight, if you are going uphill, how even the ground is etc. if you need more you could get a spare battery pack for it, and swap them over when needed. but remember to keep them charged even when not in use once a week is the best way to keep them in good shape.

HI Scooter is on charge full time and used daily after 30min i loose the first green light that is OK but if i dont use it for one or two days i loose the first green light only after 10min can you...

well it could be that you overcharged the batteries. You should not leave the scooter on the charger full time. you should charge the scooter nightly while you sleep unplug from the charger when you get up in the morning. the charger should not be on the scooter more than 12 hours per day and that rare. Whenever you have a red and green light on the charger the scooter is fully charged and can be unplugged. Always put it up fully charged and then charge after each use. Your batteries need to be replaced and charge the new ones before use then charge overnight each day that you use the scooter. If you don't use it for a few days you should still be fully charged than charge after use Hope this helps
