How do I change the desktop text, icons and bars back to 100% from 500% in Windows 8.1?

Hi Cindy

You have set a customer DPI scale for your display.

Right Click on desktop
Choose "Screen Resolution"
Click on link that says "Make Text and other items larger or smaller"
Click on link that says "Set custom text size (DPI)"
Adjust the scale back to 100%
Apply the changes and all should be well.

Regards
Andrew

How do i hook up my ps3 with tv through hdmi as it keeps goin to blue screen

  1. Connect the PS3 standard composite video connector (yellow RCA plug) to the TV composite input and switch the TV to that input. Leave the HDMI cable connected.
  2. Make sure the PS3 is off. Turn it on and hold the power button until you get two beeps (at least 5 seconds). The PS3 navigation screen should be shown on the TV. If not, switch the TV back to HDMI; the screen should be displayed at 480i resolution.
  3. Go to the settings menu. Select Display Settings, then Video Output Settings, then press the X button on your controller.
  4. The on-screen instruction should be "Select the type of input on your TV." Select HDMI, then press the '> (solid right triangle) button on your controller.
  5. You will be offered the choice of Automatic or Custom settings. Try Automatic first (if there is a problem at the end, start over and pick Custom the second time).
  6. Press the X button. You will get a screen asking you to confirm the changes. Press the X button again to confirm.
  7. You may get a screen asking for the resolution setting. IMPORTANT: if your TV's maximum resolution is 720p or lower, do not pick a higher resolution. The TV may not display properly or may not display at all (blue screen). Pick the highest resolution your TV can display.
  8. Confirm this by selecting "Yes" and pressing the X button.
  9. The settings list should now read Connector Type HDMI; Resolution Standard (NTSC); 480p; 720p; 1080p (if applicable). Press the X button to confirm.
  10. You may be offered a choice of audio outputs; you can use HDMI or something else, depending on your setup. Confirm the setting and press X one more time.

At this point, the PS3 should send its signal to the HDMI port following restart. If your TV has more than one HDMI input, make sure you select the one connected to the PS3.

How can I increase the text(font) size of my toshiba satellite laptop

The easiest way to do this is to right click your mouse on the desktop of your computer, and click properties or customize (depending whether you have windows xp or vista/7) and under the setting and screen resolution, lower the screen resolution. The lower the screen resolution, the larger things will appear on the screen

What is the combination of keys (shortcut) to change the screen resolution (not orientation).

There is no Fn-Fx key combination to change screen resolution (at leat on my R10 running Windows XP. Even if you create a shortcut to open the graphics properties you still have to open the relevant tab manually to change resolutions.
You can open the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for mobile icon on the tray, go to the graphic properties change the resolution and save as a scheme. With a customized scheme defined you will be able to click the Intel Graphic properties and select that scheme. But be careful, your tablet pen will no longer be calibrated with the available screen area.
I tried on my R10 (native resolution 1024x768) and all I could select was 800x600@ 60Hz.

Please tell me what kind of video format works on my lggd510 ,because i tried with mp3,3gp,mp4 and didn't worked. tell me please can i see mouvies on my phone?

dear chellu
lg gd510 works with 3gp and mpeg4 format. some times mpeg4 formatted videos cannot be played due to resolution problem. while in full screen mode it doesn't give complete full screen effect, while playing 3gp videos.
it is better to convert videos using "ANY VIDEO CONVERTER" FREE to download. it is a customized resolution converter. choose resolution as 400*240. use customized mpeg4 format. more support log on to http://www.neonetcrammer.blogspot.com

There is no picture on the TV screen.

*If the resolution of the video content is not supported by the TV in use, when the video is played the screen may go blank. Liquid video monitor trouble

Hi, the way your describing the problem it sounds like you don't have any video drivers installed in your machine, hence the computer is using a generic video driver with very limited resolutions. Try using Windows Update, when it asks you to do express or custom, choose custom and under hardware you should see your video drivers there. If not post the make and model of your PC and I'll help you find the drivers.
