You should have a USB cable that lets the camera act as a reader, If not go out and purchase a memory card reader to view and transfer the image to your computer. you can also just buy a micro USB cable to stick in the camera if you lost yours. But an SD card reader will be your better option.

When you view the pictures you should have an option to choose or check off which photos you want to download.
Try opening your disc where the photos are from your File Manager on your computer.
Go to your lower left corner and right click your mouse on Start and open Windows Explorer.
then look at your drives of your computer on the left side of the screen
You should see C drive and search for the photos or open the folder with the photos and whichever drive you have your photo disc in.
When you click on this drive your computer may ask "would you like to view the photos with MS photo viewer or something similar.
View the photos first, they will open all at once. You should have a spot to click in and put a check mark to download ONLY those photos from the disc to the laptop.
Give that a try. Of course if it states "would you like to download all the pictures, click NO if available.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.
Put the Micro SD card into your phone and transfer the pictures to it. Once you have transferred the pictures, take the card out of your phone and put it into the SD Adapter and then into the USB Adapter. Once you have done that plug the USB Adapter into your computer and wait for it to load. After waiting a few seconds, click start, my computer, then double click on the SD card icon. Your pictures should load and you should be able to transfer them to your computer.
The easiest way to transfer pictures from a cell phone to a computer without incurring addtional charges is to transfer the pictures to a mini SD card and then insert the SD card into your PC. If you will tell me what kidn of phone you have, I can try to find the directions for where to install the mini SD card and how to transfer the pictures. At that point, you can also set the camera to automatically save the pictures to the SD card to save yourselves steps next time. : )
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

there might not be a way of transferring picture within the camera. However the SD card _should_ have resolved the memory full issue. Plug the camera into a computer with its USB cable. Transfer the pictures to the computer and delete them off the internal memory. Assure that your SD memory card is functional by trying it in another camera or in the slot on a computer.
I called 1-800-828-4040 since our camera was purchased only 1 week ago. I was told to uninstall my previous cannon camera SD 630 files: ZoomBrowser EX and EOS Utility and all the associated cannon files. When I reloaded the new software I was able to transfer pictures from the camera to the computer. (There must have been a confusion in reading the new camera versus the previous camera with the old data still on my computer) That would be a could tip for trouble shooting in the Software Starter Guide.
