loosen the big nut holding the pulley on the shaft
behind the mount there should be a long thin bolt
turn it so that the pulley shaft moves up or down to release tension on the belt
undo the nut right off and the pulley will slip off the shaft remember where the spacers go as it is important when refitting the pulley
As you look at engine from timing belt side by where the drive shaft runs at back of engine around four inches back there is a small 10mm bolt that goes into the engine block undo this and that is where the pin goes don't forget that the crank pulley gear is free wheeling so make sure you use a new crank bolt and use correct torque setting
They'd be right hand threads-regular threads-to loosen, turn counter clockwise. An air impact wrench is best for removing the crank bolt. Or a long breaker bar and socket on the bolt, if you can hold the crankshaft stable so it doesn't turn backward with pressure on the bolt. You can pull the starter off, and wedge a big screwdriver or prybar against the flywheel's ring gear teeth, then turn the bolt with the breaker bar.
Honda crankshaft bolts are always extremely tight. You will need an impact gun to get it off. You may want to take the car to a local shop and just have them remove the crank bolt for you and then hand tighten it with a ratchet wrench so you can get the car home to do the rest of the work. You can get at the bolt through the wheel well with the impact gun and a 17mm deep socket, it doesn't take much effort, it's just that the shop may not want to help as they're not getting the job. A box of doughnuts or beer may help here.
it undoes normal way but its tight as its a taper end on crank and no keyway so dont hammer it off with the starter motor and a big bar locked into the suspension. You will have to use a special tool to lock the crank in position ,the other way i do it when i dont have all the tools is to slacken timing belt and then remove the camshaft ,then i undo it with the big bar and the starter motor ,to do it up without the right locking tool i jam a big screwdriver into flywheel by removing the metal plate on the bottom of the bell housing and jam it up ,the torque on this type of arrangement is something like 150 lbs which is a lot if its not tight enough the pulley can move a bit with use and bang goes a piston and valves ,got the teashirt
right put the starter motor back in,then re connect .put the right size socket on the pulley bolt and use a long snap on bar jammed into the suspension then crank the engine with the starter motor and it will undo itself ,dont forget to put some contact sdhesive back on the pulley bolt thread when rebuilding
remove the outer small bolts to remove balancer(pulley) the big centre bolt holds crankshaft gear for timming belt which slides off with timming belt removed.
