It might be caused by waste inik at bootom plate of head. Try to print blank pages (10 pages or more) for cleaning itself.

Replace your paper pickup rollers.

The symptoms infer that the problem is with the computer (printing from an application) rather than the printer (prints OK when the computer is not involved). The best way out of this is to uninstall the printer (start-control panel-uninstall software-epson software). But before you do this double-click the printer icon in the printer list (start-control panel-printers & faxes) and cancel all print jobs in the list (if there are any). Then uninstall the printer Then reboot the computer. Make sure your printer is connected to the computer BUT TURNED OFF. Then insert your printer installation CD and re-install the printer. Turn on the printer when prompted. All should then be well.

1. Click on START, CONTROL PANEL, PRINTERS AND FAXES (or PRINTERS AND OTHER HARDWARE).
2. Right click your printer, and select PROPERTIES. (If your printer is not listed, click on VIEW INSTALLED PRINTERS first).
3. Select the ADVANCED tab.
4. Select SPOOL DOCUMENTS BEFORE PRINTING.
5. Click on APPLY (if applicable), then OK.
6. Restart your computer.
7. Try printing now.

I'm afraid this series of printer (810 -830) doesn't handle heavy photo paper well - which is a bit strange for a so-called photo printer. If you hold each sheet and help it to feed it will work. But ...... for goodness sake. Your best bet is to sell it on e-bay and buy something that will handle heavy paper.

I asume it just prints out a blank page. How old is the ink cartridge? Take it out and put it back in. Try cleaning off the contacts before you put it back in. Try a new cartridge. God Bless. Jerry

go to admin tools, then services, scroll down (in services) to print spooler. click stop the service (lh side) when that has done click start the service.
what this does is basically resets the printer memory.
