1, Double-click on the printer icon on your Desktop and select the Scan a Document or Photo option from it. Lift the Scanner lid and place the first page with scan side facing down.
2, Check the scan settings and click Scan document to file. Click the Scan button, and the scan process will begin. Now remove the first page and replace the second page on the scanner glass. Click on the "+" sign located at the left-hand side of the display.
3, In the same way, continue scanning other pages too. Once you completed scanning all the pages, click Done after saving the file with a file name.
4, You can change the destination name in the printer settings. In this way, multiple pages can be scanned as PDF.

SOURCE: Scans

Are you using Acrobat? If so, you can insert pages easily by using the Insert menu. It will even allow you to choose where to insert the page - first, second, last, etc.

SOURCE: Scanner saves multiple pages separately, need saved as one

hi,

thats very easy, i believe so ur trying to scan from the printer itself becoz that happens if u try to scan from the printer itself, instead of that use the solution center software.
if u have installed the complete software which was provided by hp, u will a icon on ur desktop called solution center, click on that and click on the scan document button on it and u get a pop window in that select the file type as PDF and click on scan at the bottom of the window and once it completes the scan, it will give a message do want to scan another page, click yes and go ahead with that........

i think i have answered ur query..............

SOURCE: Scanning Multiple pages into one pdf

Scanning a multi-page document as a .pdf file reverts the settings for rotation, selected area, etc. to default for any pages after the first page. This applies to Mac OSX 10.3, 10.4, & 10.5. A simple, but tedious work-around is to scan each page as a separate file and easily recombine them using OSX Preview. Just open the first page, view the Sidebar, and drag-drop the additional page files into the sidebar. Save and it's all one multi-page .pdf.

Try OCR Terminal, which is an online OCR service that converts scanned images into searchable text. Register an account and you can convert 20 pages for free every month.
Have a try and hope it helps.

How do i scan multiple pages and sav it to my documents. It seems like i am only able to scan and save one page at a time

Hi

If you have a Top feeder on the scanner, you can scan mutiple pages. Change the setting of the scanned file to pdf file (not JPEG) by going to the scanner icon and change the type of file you want to scan. Scan it as PDF FILE and then it will scan multiple pages. Regards

Need to scan a multiple page document into a pdf. Every time i attempt to do so, it scans each page and creates an individual file per page.

You must get an Adobe program to do that... OR combine them later. Adobe Professional 8 will allow scanning multiple pages into a document I use it all the time. There are also other PDF makers/converters too, to download. Another way is to scan into Word, or similar, and then "Print" as a PDF.

How do I add multiple pages to one scanned doucment?

Open your Adobe Acrobat (e.g., 9.0 Pro), load your pages into the document feeder (fewer than 30 at a time), then ask Adobe Acrobat to create PDF from scanner (File/Create PDF/From Scanner). Canon MP530 as the scanner and click OK. Works like a charm!

Canon CanoScan LIDE 25

Use the PDF function of the CanoScan Toolbox. On the options screen for a pdf, click the drop down box next to “Save as Type:”. Select “PDF (Multiple Pages)”. This option causes CanoScan to stop after each page is scanned and ask if there is a next page or if you are finished.
