I can not get the alarm to operate when it is switched off

The alarm operates from the door switch which also turns light on. When refrigerator door is open for a set period the alarm sounds, fault is possibly either door switch or alarm panel. Can you operate door switch manually while door is open to see if light goes out? If light stays on then you have a faulty switch.

if you have set up an alarm before phone has switch off then alarm will be come at time you specified and will also ask you to on the phone once alarm is made off.....

An ON/OFF switch allows the temperature alarm to be deactivated if desired. The freezer is shipped with the switch in the OFF position. After the freezer has run long enough to lower the temperature, you may set the switch to the ON position.
CAUTION: Adding more than 3 pounds (1.5 kg) of warm food per cubic foot of freezer capacity can trigger the alarm.
To activate the alarm, set the switch to the ON position.
To deactivate the alarm, set the switch to the OFF position.

Open the alarm clock tab.

To set an alarm, select Options > Set alarm. When an

alarm is active, is displayed.

To switch off the alarm, select Stop, or to stop the alarm

for 5 minutes, select Snooze. If the alarm time is reached

while the device is switched off, the device switches itself

on and starts sounding the alarm tone. If you select

Stop, the device asks whether you want to activate the

device for calls. Select No to switch off the device or Yes

to make and receive calls. Do not select Yes when wireless
phone use may cause interference or danger.

To change the alarm time, select Options > Reset

To remove the alarm, select Options > Remove alarm.

you have most likely downloaded an illegal copy or a copy that is not compatible with your phone, try to send it back to the manufacturers or a phone repair shop where they can take out the memory chip either wip it or delete that one program, that is why i prefer expandable memory, like a micro SDHC memory card, it is easy to remove and can be read by a modern computer.

To enable the alarm, push and hold either alarm 1 or alarm 2 button on left side of face... eventually it will switch the display and say alarm enabled and you can then push the alarm button to switch between buzzer / radio / off.
