not a question for the automotive car and truck group but it sounds to me like you are overloading the generator and it's internal fault protection is turning it off

How do I disassemble a Dyson Cool AM07?

Hi Glennis, it's Jack at Dyson.

I've included our Getting Started guide for AM07 below. To disassemble it, you would just need to reverse these steps. To remove the loop amplifier, hold the main body firmly and twist
the loop amplifier anti-clockwise to unlock. This may be a bit stiff if the fan is brand new and hasn't been disassembled before.

I hope this helps, but if you need further guidance from our experts, just give us a call on 0800 298 0298 (UK), 1-866-693-9766 (US), 1-877-397-6622 (CA) or 1800 239 766 (AU).

How do you convert a remote thermostat to a directly wired digital thermostat to a vulcan powerhouse 100 central heater unit

First, you need to know how many millivolts the Thermopile (aka Pilot Generator) on the the furnace's pilot assembly millvolt terminal. Then you find a wired digital thermostat, that meets the same millivoltage that the Thermopile Generates or has a lower requirement. You have to run millivolt wiring from the furnace's pilot assembly millivolt terminal block (the wiring should be connect to the TH & the TPH terminals, to where you want to place the digital wall thermostat. In most cases, it can not be more that 15' away from the furnace. In other words, no more than 15' of wiring can be involved.

Hope this helped you. Please let me know. Thanks.

I have a Miele S1721 Powerhouse upright vacuum. When the belt broke I took it into the shop (because when i tried to replace the belt, the tension was so tight I couldn't get it back together!!). When I...

Hi
The Miele uprights (S170 and upwards) with the Powerhouse title are ALL Panasonic uprights which have been at one time sold in the UK. Therefore the upright may use TWO drive belts which need to be looked at: Take off the sole plate and examine the drive belt which is around the beater bar. Check that this belt is moving easily. Then look at the fly wheel to the motor (usually to the left hand side) and check that the smaller motor belt is moving - it may be broken which is why the beater bar isn't moving and why tension is tight.
Generally NONE of the Miele Powerhouse models have a manual selector for height adjustment - they all use auto adjustment which means no manual selector. The vacuum principle means that general carpet which comes into contact with the brush creates a vacuum anyway between the brush and the floor. If the brush isn't touching the floor then its a possibility dirt or debris has managed to get between the bottom 2 rollers after the beater bar. Check behind the wheels to see that there is nothing there - most auto adjusting Powerhouse models will have a spring behind the wheel and it may have come off.
