Krups KP2100 One light press on the power button causes the power to flash red twice, then stay off. I have been able to hold the button for >5 seconds to get the light to begin flashing green (descale mode) then move the lever over at the top and start pumping water. There was no apparent issue with flow or temperature recently and no unusual noise from the pump. After observing some water being pumped for a few seconds I now have lost the pumping functionality completely. A momentary dab of power just gives two red flashes. A 5 second hold gives green flashes, but the top lever no longer starts the pump. I have filled the water tank to a higher level than I normally use (to hopefully ensure water pressure and no air-lock possibilities). Cost of return for repair does not look economic. Is this something that screwdrivers and a trip to Maplin may be able to solve?

I would have to guess, that is probably not the correct remote. I feel I must inform you, trying to upgrade your firmware, from an unsavory hacker, can turn your unit into a brick(doorstop). IMO, proceed with caution.

in the machine there is small circuit board that control the machine so they programmed that circuit to preheat the heating element for about 30s if this failed the red light flashes two tims then stops so you have to change the circuit board

1. Searching For Your Code

If you have tried all of the set-up codes for your brand of equipment ,or your brand is not listed, and you are still not able to get the unit to respond, try the following procedure to search for your code.
If you don't find a code that works, the remote will flash four times when you reach the end of all the codes for this device type.

1. PRESS the button for the device you want to program, (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.), then RELEASE.

2. PRESS and HOLD the SETUP button until the red LED flashes twice, then RELEASE.

3. ENTER 9-9-1 (two blinks on the remote)

4. ALTERNATE slowly between the POWER key and the DEVICE (TV, VCR, CABLE, etc.) button until your device turns off. (On VCR, LD, and CD players use PLAY instead of POWER)
Make sure that the remote is pointed at your device during the search, You may have to press this sequences of buttons up to 100 times to search the entire library of codes.

Line up your original remote and the head-to-head before completing the following steps.

3. PRESS the DEVICE key where you wish to learn the function. The next 3 steps must be completed within 10 seconds.

4. PRESS the button that will receive the learned function, the LED will flash rapidly.

5. PRESS the button on the original remote to be learned.


Now you can repeat steps 3 through 5 to learn other functions onto other keys or press and hold SETUP until the Cinema's red light flashes twice to lock in your new feature. (If the red light does not blink twice, stop and repeat steps through

6).
To test the new feature, press and release the device key in which the new feature was learned followed by the key on which the feature was learned

u can make your dvd for region free DVD play back. but for that you have to purchase an universal remote (ONE FOR ALL URC-7950). through this remote only you can make player DVD region free.
first of all u have to set( program) the remote for the same purpose.
