I think you will find that the card works fine but your computer doesnt recognise the card reader properly. Windows 98 does not properly recognise most usb devices but Windows 98SE does although I am not sure if it will recognise usb2 properly.

Where can I get instruction on how to use your 4GB DataTraveler - G3 - USB 2.0 ?

Hello Gwolk,

The Kingston 4GB DataTraveler Generation 3 (G3) USB 2.0 is a durable 4GB flash memory drive for use with both Macintosh and PC computers. It may be used to transfer files from one platform to another, or to carry files and small applications on a continuing basis. Having no moving parts, flash drives are exceptionally durable and reliable for years of use.Simple - just plug into any USB port

I'm having kingston datatraveler 120 4gb .It is

Check the USB on another PC and if this is not detected on any PC then the memory is corrupt.
In such a case there is not much unless the dealerships helps for a replacement.

My computer won't recognise my 4gb kingston datatraveler mini...its fresh out of the package and it says it supports windows vista...

Try the stick in a different USB port on your computer.

Try the stick in some other computer.

If it does not work, it could be defective -- take it back to where you bought it, and get them to demonstrate that it works in one of their computers, or get them to replace it.

I can't use 2 GB kingston pendrive in windows 98

windows 98 will probably need drivers installed before it can recgonize a USB flash drive:

I don't know which specific model of kingston drive you have, but if you go to this link, select the right model, and click on 'download win98 drivers'  that should work.
