Menu Keeps Popping Up

Probably a stuck button, either the menu button on the set itself is stuck or a menu button on a remote is active. Press the menu button on the set itself and see if that "un-sticks" the button, if it was indeed stuck. If the menu keeps popping up, take the remotes from the room and go back in without the remotes and see if the menu is popping up. Try the menu button again on the TV itself to see if that changes things. If the problem was a remote, perhaps it was laying wrong and depressing a button. Or, a button on it may have indeed been stuck. Bring the remotes back in and see if the menu starts popping up.

No such thing as a reset. You can restore factory settings in the main menu, but that is not a reset.

did u check the remote? i mean remove the batteries of the remote and remove the tv from electricity and put it back on the tv but not the remote batteries and check if it works normal and if it does buy a new remote.

you could do it to setup to a/v input . then try to set up to menu to do setup.if not . you tv need change epprom ic. good luck!

probably its old or try to check the color status in display property in desktop properties

Since it is brand new then should be OK.
Please return it to store and get another TV.

change the EEPROM

There are probably some failing components in the uPC control area, or with the keypad board on the TV sets front panel. It is also possible that there is a problem with the filtering of the distributed power through the circuit boards of the set, and there is some noise causing a false trigger of the function.

This type of fault can take some time for the tech to figure out, unless it is a published common fault with the particular model of set where they give a list of parts to change.
