Boot option won't have usb option

Go into the BIOS setting and in the boot options, make the USB the first boot device.

If you want to use a USB keyboard to access Windows command prompt options, make changes in the BIOS (Basic Input/Output System), or to operate legacy operating systems, you must enable support for the device inside the BIOS.

Shut down the computer and disconnect the USB keyboard. Connect a PS/2 keyboard to the PS/2 connector port on the rear of the computer. Turn on the computer and press the "Delete" key several times as soon as you see the initial boot or company logo screen. Wait for the main BIOS setup screen to appear. Press the right or left arrow keys to move the cursor to the "Advanced" or "Advanced Settings" menu option. Press the "Enter" key. Move the cursor to the "Integrated Peripherals" or "Peripheral Configuration" menu option. Press the "Enter" key. Press the down-arrow key to navigate to the "USB Controllers" option. Press the "+" or "-" key to change the menu option to "Enabled." Move the cursor to the "USB Legacy Support" or "USB Legacy Function" field. Press the "+" key repeatedly until the value option changes to "Enabled." Press the "F10" key to save changes to the BIOS settings and exit the setup utility. Wait until the computer begins to restart and then press the power button and hold it for approximately four or five seconds. The computer shuts down completely. Unplug the PS/2 keyboard from the computer and set it aside. Reconnect the USB keyboard restart the computer. As soon as you see the initial boot screen, tap the "Delete" key several times and wait for the BIOS setup screen to appear. If you are able to access the BIOS setup screen with the USB keyboard, USB support is active in the BIOS.

Options 1 and 2 are internal hard drives. Option 3 is a USB flash drive, option 4 is a USB hard drive. Option 5 is a network boot protocol to boot from a local server. Option 6 is to boot from a USB CD drive.

If your computer does not boot in the current configuration, try selecting IDE1 instead of IDE0. One of those two drives has your operating system on it. If neither will boot, then you will need to install an operating system on one of them by inserting an install disc in a USB CD drive and selecting option 6.

If they are PS/2, power off make sure that they are not plugged into the wrong port, they will fit....but won't work that way.

If they are USB, try booting into safe mode and see if they work there

Pressing [F8] repeatedly on boot is how to get the Safe Mode options to appear, then use the Arrow-keys, (up or down,) to highlight a Safe Mode option, then press [Enter] to select it.

Turn on your laptop and look at the first screen that comes up as soon as it is on. This screen will tell you "Press x key to enter setup", replacing "x" with the actual BIOS access key. It's usually "Del" or "F2" on Toshiba systems.

As the first boot device, select "USB," or "USB HDD." If you have a "USB ZIP" option, you might be able to boot from it, so select that if you have no other choice.

Press the button for "Save and Exit" in your BIOS. The correct button is usually F10.

use window 7 installation bootable disc. that will help...

Some BIOS will only give you the option for USB if there is a USB detected upon boot. List all your boot options it could also be listed as something like Legacy USB, USB FDD, USB HDD
